120cm truck loop - PETZL

This item is sold individually.
A continuous ring that creates a temporary anchor for many different aerials: aerial hoops, some trapezes, aerial silks etc.
We will then come and secure the apparatus with carabiners.
This item is marketed here in its 120cm version. It is also available on our website in 60cm, 80cm, and 150cm. The length is chosen according to the structure where you install your aerial equipment.

In the advertised product length of 120cm, we refer to the useful length of the truck loop (see the drawings).
Installation on a beam:
You will need to know the size of the beam to then choose the size of the truck loop to use. If the beam over which you pass the loop is square with sharp edges, consider protecting the it by sliding a piece of carpet, for example, between the beam and the truck loop, to limit wear. Check the condition of the loop before each use. Always replace it if it shows signs of wear. The safety of the person using the apparatus attached to this truck loop is at stake.
Example of installation:
Below is an example of using a truck loop to create an anchor point. The carabiner is not included with the purchase of the truck loop, it is shown only for the staging of the loop. For this type of installation, you need to be able to pass the ring above your beam. If you don't have space above your beam, we have another method: use an Anchor plate.

Certificate for humans:
Please note, many truck loops present in various shops are certified for industrial lifting. This one here has a certificate for lifting people, which is mandatory for use in a professional environment.
I was on my own to film this, sorry for the poor quality of my performance, but I think that it will clarify for some how to pass a truck loop around a beam to make an anchor point.

Netjuggler's opinion on this aerial equipment anchorage:
It should not be forgotten that with activities in the air, the safety of the bindings and the installation of the equipment are points which cannot be neglected. The range of equipment we market comes from serious and reputable manufacturers. The equipment is supplied with certificates allowing its use in a professional environment. For this item, you will find the downloadable certificates as well as advice on use, maintenance and a document that shows you in pictures what this equipment looks like once worn, which must imperatively stop its use for a replacement with new equipment.
Never fly alone ;-)
Hello, what does "Never practice aerial photography alone" mean? Thank you.
This means that if you are not accompanied, you should not practice on aerial equipment. If you get stuck on a piece of fabric, for example, if you are alone, there is a risk of not being able to free yourself. In the event of an accident, if you are alone, the risks are greater.
