150cm truck loop - PETZL

This item is sold individually.
A continuous ring that creates a temporary anchor for many different aerials: aerial hoops, some trapezes, aerial silks etc...
We will then attach the apparatus to it using carabiners.
This is the 150cm version. It is also available on our website in 60cm, 80cm, and 120cm. The length is chosen according to the structure where you install your aerial equipment.

We refer here to the useful length of the truck loop (see the drawing).
Installation on a beam:
You will need to know the size of the beam to then choose the size of the loop to use. If the beam over which you pass the truck loop is square with sharp edges, consider protecting the it by sliding a piece of carpet for example between the beam and the loop, to limit wear on the sling. Check the condition of the loop before each use. Always replace it if it shows signs of wear. The safety of the person using the apparatus attached is at stake.
Example installation:
Here is an example of how a truck loop is used to create an anchor point. The carabiner is not included with the purchase of the loop, it is shown only for the staging of the sling. For this type of installation, you need to pass the truck loop above your beam. If you don't have space above your beam, we have another method, use an anchor plate.

I was on my own to film this, sorry for the poor quality, but I think that will clarify for some how to use a truck loop around a beam to make an anchor point.
Certificate for Humans:
Warning, many truck loops present in various shops are certified for industrial lifting. The sling shown here has a certificate for lifting people, which is mandatory for using in a professional environment.

Good morning,
If my beam is square with a circumference of about 60cm, what size sewn ring should I take please?
The sewn ring must be properly positioned in the same way as an anchor strap.
Thank you !
With a 60cm square beam, you will need an 80cm sewn ring
Hello, I want to hang a fabric from my beam. To do this, I'm looking for the necessary hooks. I'm thinking of using the Swivel CAMP swivel with a fabric bell. My problem is that I don't know how to attach the swivel to the bell and the swivel to the rope surrounding the beam (I was thinking of using the article "prodH1page7619"). So my question is: can I use any carabiners to put on both ends of the swivel or should I use another type of attachment?
Thanks in advance.
The setup you describe is absolutely perfect as far as hardware goes. On your side, however, you must be sure to position yourself on a sturdy beam. You'll need a structure capable of supporting at least a ton. Keep in mind that it's not your mass that the beam must be able to support, but the mass of your body in motion. Regarding the height of the fabric, for use up to 2 meters in height, the law recommends the use of a 40cm thick landing mat. For higher heights, the use of inflatable fall structures such as those used for stunts is recommended. Many artists work at great risk without using this type of equipment. I hope I've provided some answers to your questions here. But if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us by phone.
