Kit of 20 Varana 441 balls with millet filling.
This item is not for use by children under 5 years old.
Varana 441 Millet ball:
The Varana 441 bullet is a bullet with a diameter of 65mm. It is ideal for intensive use. It is 100% made in France , from phthalate-free and recyclable PVC. Its diameter makes it a ball that can be used by children and for serious jugglers working with 5 or more balls.
The Varana 441 ball from NetJuggler is a flexible ball with a thin and soft shell. It is filled with millet. This gives it a mass of 120 grams ideal for beginners with three balls, but also for working on 5 balls and up to 7 balls.

Video of Varana 441 bullets:
A big thank you to Compagnie Les Invendus as well as Raphael ( Metlili ) for the video.
NetJuggler's opinion:
Its shell is light (35 grams) and thin, which gives it flexibility. The fact that it deforms slightly when caught gives it a pleasant grip when juggling.
Technical characteristics :
- Ball diameter: 65mm.
- Mass of the soft shell between 33 and 35 grams only.
- The translucent shell reveals the millet inside the ball (this is the ball you see on the far right in our photos).
- Millet filling: round seed which gives more flexibility to the ball than a semolina filling. This type of filling is less hard and allows the ball to deform slightly when caught.
- Its filling is done here with our little hands in Limousin where we are based in the countryside :-)
- If you're sick, don't eat your ball! ( unshelled millet , unfit for consumption).
For what type of practice?
The diameter of these balls is ideal for use from 6 years old , but it is also an ideal ball for teenagers/adults.
Modular ball:
The cap that we have developed can be removed. If you are a demanding juggler, this will allow you, if you wish, to play on the mass of the ball by modifying its content. This cap makes the ball waterproof, also allowing you to put liquid in it. If you want to exert significant pressure on a ball filled with liquid, we advise you to glue the cap. Generally, when you put liquid in a juggling ball, it is with the aim of lowering its center of gravity. Water should be avoided because it moves too suddenly in the ball, making the ball trajectories hazardous. We recommend the use of liquid silicone, that is to say nothing more and nothing less: lubricant.
The Varana 441 to fill yourself:
We also sell this empty Varana 441 ball , to fill yourself. This allows you to lower the cost of your balls. You will find empty Varana 441 balls on our site for only 5.5 euros with a collective price of 4.5 euros, this will allow you to make a significant saving. If you work with an association or a school, we recommend empty balls , you can buy more, for the same budget and thus juggle more people. Organizing a bullet-filling workshop can be entertaining and reminds us that we can do certain things on our own in the consumerist society in which we live.
Why 441?
In juggling, there is a mathematical notation that allows you to write juggling figures. To oversimplify, we can compare this notation called Siteswap to music theory for music. Allowing you to create figures following specific rules but also to exchange and understand juggling figures. The 441 is a juggling figure which is practiced with 3 balls.
In order to make the ball modular, we do not glue the cap of this ball. However, if you are using the balls in a school environment with unruly children who do not respect the equipment, it might be a good idea for you to glue the caps of the balls :-).
How to maintain your Varana 441 balls?
Unfortunately, all balls with a PVC coating are allergic to ink. This is the case for all juggling balls that exist. In fact, upon contact with ink, this type of ball gets dirty quite easily. This is why it is good to have a small nylon bag , to prevent the balls from coming into contact with ink. You must also be careful not to carry your balls in direct contact with a magazine or newspaper for example.
Any other type of dirt can be cleaned very well with soapy water and a sponge.
You can try with a little acetone, but be aware that acetone will remove the shiny side of the balls. Many jugglers put acetone on shiny balls to make them matte. But I don't recommend this method if you want your balls to stay shiny.
