Henrys Professional String Roll 70m

Item sold individually.
Henrys professional diabolo string:
A 70-meter roll of thin and resistant diabolo string. Does not wrap around the diabolo.
The diabolo string wears out and it is quite normal. To improve the lifespan of your string, we recommend you to have less violent movements. Children who are just starting out use their string 10 times faster than someone who uses it professionally. Just watch with what energy a child accelerates his diabolo ;-). Imagine the amount of friction ! Whatever the string, the wear will inevitably be important. That being said, Henrys pro string is stronger than the string typically sold by default on the handsticks.
Be careful however, if you are using a fire diabolo, you will need to use Kevlar diabolo string (which does not melt and does not ignite).
NetJuggler's tips and advice on the string:
Why is Henrys string the choice of the professionals?Informations for professionals:The Henrys string is in our opinion the best, not for its colour but above all for its fluidity when used. The friction on the axis is minimized. By avoiding using it in a humid or dusty environment, you will increase its lifespan.
When we ask Henrys, the manufacturer of the string, they tell us that every string colour is the same, but it's been since 2004 that we have been selling this string and the diabolists have told us the opposite. We thought it would be good to pass on the information from Alexis Levillon , an experienced diabolist, on the differences between the colours of the strings.
Here are the strings that grip the least up to those that grip the most:
- Yellow string - Slips a lot, used more for vertax, it will take a little time of use before the grip is ideal.
- Orange string - Slips less than the yellow one, it is the favourite colour of the majority of diabolists.
- Green string - Grips more than the orange one, it is generally the favourite among diabolists who practice with several diabolos. It is indeed necessary to accelerate the diabolos in a short time which will be easier to do than with the yellow or orange string.
- White string - Used by diabolists who practice with multiple diabolos but also by novice diabolists who have difficulty speeding up their diabolo at the very beginning.
This string information is given as a guide only, but do not rely on it 100% as the choice of string colour is very personal and each diabolist has his preferences. If there are differences between each string colour, it is because the dyes used will have an influence on the grip of the fibers of the string.
Adjust the string of your diabolo:To practice the diabolo, an important point is the length of the string. The length depends on your height and also your preferences. There is no typical length!
However, for children, we usually put a total length of string that goes from the foot to the shoulder . For teens / adults, we put a length a little shorter going from the foot to the armpit.
To find out which lenght you prefer, make several tries, and once it feels good, keep it that way !
What type of use ?
This string is intended for heavy use by experienced diabolists. It will also be suitable for beginners as they tend to wear their string much faster than experienced diabolists and will therefore need sturdy string.
Informations on the manufacturer Henrys:

Henrys is a German brand which all professionals in the juggling world will recommend to you. Their material is known to be robust, it is designed for intensive use.
I play with 2 or 3 diabolos... But I also play with 1 from time to time? Won't the green Henrys string be a problem for the first diabolo? It's not visible enough in my opinion... Is the orange one a good compromise? Many thanks!
Green string: maximum grip
What string for 1 diabolo?
To practice a diabolo, it will depend on you. Do you prefer a string that grips when it is new or on the contrary a smoother string that grips less? A string that grips less will have more difficulty wrapping around the axis of the diabolo when the diabolo turns at very high speed... For visibility, with a diabolo it is often useful to see the string of your diabolo clearly, especially when performing tricks where the string is partly hidden. Orange or fluorescent yellow allows you to see where to catch/recover your diabolo and these are colors that grip less than green or white (in the case of the Henrys brand string).
Several strings depending on the type of practice
Diabolists who practice a lot often have several pairs of sticks equipped with different strings depending on the style of practice they will be performing. Sometimes during performances, diabolists change sticks during their act.
I saw on the other ropes that we were talking about "grip"...
It is also said that the HENRYS string is the one that catches the least and that it is not ideal for practicing with several diabolos in the string...
I would like to get started on that, and for the moment, I am practicing with this string.
Are these statements true (is it still possible to juggle several diabolos with HENRYS string)???
Thanks in advance !!!
I just added a paragraph: Information for professionals. This should answer your questions about string grip. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to get back to me. But basically, depending on the color of string you choose, it will grip more or less. Basically, the more grip the string has, the more suitable it is for practicing with several diabolos.
OK thanks !!! ;)
Good compromise between slipping and breaking.
It prevents unwanted snails (rope that gets stuck and twisted), but breaks more easily than babache string.
