Aluminum handsticks for diabolo

These handsticks are sold in pairs and already equipped with a string length.
Aluminum diabolo handsticks:
These handsticks are made of durable and polished aluminium.
The handle is made of EVA-type foam, dense enough to be comfortable and at the same time very light to feel the diabolo at the end of the string.
If you are a beginner, NetJuggler advises you to add a string reel to your order. Indeed, beginners have jerky movements that can wear out the string very quickly, even in a few hours, where the same string will last a few weeks with an experienced diabolist. This may prevent you from spending shipping costs again when your string is worn out.
NetJuggler's opinion:
- These handsticks are among the best available at this price.
- In the long run, you have to know that aluminum bends. But these handsticks are surely the most resistant. If you want handsticks that will not bend, you should instead opt for titanium handsticks, but be careful, the price is not be the same !
- They are very pleasant to hold in the hands.
technical characteristics:
- Material: aluminum.
- Length: 32,5cm.
- Weight: 80 g.
- String tie: end of the handstick.
- Length of string: 1.6m.
- String: white string.
What kind of use ?
These handsticks are ideal for beginners and experienced diabolists. Perfect for making slide/grind tricks.
How to choose your handsticks ?
You can execute almost every trick whatever the handstick you choose.
- Beech wood handsticks are strong and powerful, they are widely used in schools and associations.
- Aluminum handsticks are rigid. Beginners' favorite because they are thin and therefore excellent to make slide / grind tricks that last very long. They are also widely used by demonists who practice intensively.
- Carbon handsticks are flexible diabolo handsticks. They are used to practice with several diabolos in order to better absorb the fall of the diabolos. They offer extra comfort compared to aluminum handsticks.
- The fiberglass handsticks are very light. The lighter the handsticks, the more you can feel the diabolo on the string. On the same principle as the carbon baguettes, they are slightly flexible for more comfort.
Set the string of your diabolo:

To practice the diabolo, an important point is the length of the string. The length depends on your size and also on your preferences. There's no typical length !
That being said, usually the diabolists use a string length from the foot to the shoulder. That is why these handsticks are sold with a relatively long string length (1.6m). You will have to adjust the length of the string according to your preferences.

To find the length you prefer, do several tests and, as soon as it feels good, keep it that way !
Informations about the manufacturer Henrys:

Henrys is a German brand, which every professional in the field of juggling recommends. Their equipment is known to be robust, it is designed for an intensive use.
Aluminum's solidity:
If you're throwing your handsticks in the air and and unto the ground, it is good to know that aluminum is a flexible metal that can be bent. If you want to violate your handsticks, NetJuggler recommends fiberglass or carbon handsticks.
I just received my pair of chopsticks and the string is yellow and orange intertwined. I looked at the Henry strings you sell, they don't have that combination. I was wondering how they compare to the pure orange and pure yellow? Is this a Henry's string or is it another brand? (I'm a beginner so it's hard to tell for myself).
I ordered spools of string at the same time, following your advice. Do diabolists usually throw away this "default" string and put in the "good" strings purchased separately? Or is it a "good" string so it's better to use it normally before replacing it?
This yellow and orange string pattern is produced exclusively by Henrys and is only available with the drumsticks. This unique string is not sold retail by Henrys. Excellent grip: Thanks to its thick texture, this string offers great grip, which makes it easier to accelerate the diabolo. Ideal for beginners: It is particularly suitable for beginners, as it simplifies learning the discipline by making the diabolo easier to control. Suitable for advanced practitioners: This model is also suitable for advanced practice with several diabolos, as it allows you to quickly give speed to the diabolos.
Hello, I would like to know the approximate delivery time if you live in the Centre region...
Also, I would like to make sure that the Henry's chopsticks are orange/red because I am thinking of ordering them...
Thank you in advance for a response.
On Henrys diabolo sticks, the color is orange (not red). The orange is quite intense. If you see the red stick in the photo on our site, it's probably due to a strange setting on your screen! You can choose 48-hour delivery on our website for all of Metropolitan France.
Good morning
Does the color of the thread matter? Does each color have a specific purpose?
Please keep him posted as I would like to order.
When you buy handsticks, regardless of the brand, the string is generally a string that grips well to facilitate learning the discipline. If you have a good level of diabolo, then we recommend the Henrys brand diabolo string. On the Henrys string product pages, we have detailed the reactivity of each color because the dyes used on the string have an influence on its grip.
I would like to know what the best aluminum baguettes are.
All aluminum sticks look very similar. Each juggling equipment manufacturer has its own version. In reality, they are very similar products. Your choice may be based solely on aesthetics. Henrys sticks have a better quality string than most other sticks.
I'm looking for aluminum chopsticks. What are the best aluminum chopsticks you offer? Thanks in advance for your reply :)
When you say 80g, is that the weight of a single baguette or the pair?
Good morning, This is the weight of the pair. Sincerely.
It's a shame they don't make the handles white, it makes a good visual effect with the wand movements :'(
I think the black wire would be good.
Good morning,
I recently bought a Circus Henrys diabolo and since I started juggling with it, my string breaks very very often (every 2 minutes) at the sticks. My sticks don't have a brand, they are made of carbon. The string is not sawn since I make the following knot: http://christophetacchini.com/diabolo/01.html
I think it's more of a weight issue with the diabolo since I've never had this problem before and it weighs 500g.
Thank you for your help!
Diabolo strings wear out. The string on Henrys handsticks is, however, more durable than the standard strings sold on other diabolo handsticks. We advise you to be less abrupt in your practice. Generally, premature wear of the string comes from improper use of the diabolo. This is mainly the case with children who tend to make too abrupt movements. The knot you are showing me cannot be tied on aluminum handsticks because they are not made the same way as wooden handsticks! I think your message here has nothing to do with these handsticks. I even think the handsticks you bought are not from us! Henrys aluminum handsticks are high-end handsticks that cannot be compared with cheap handsticks made in China that you can find on Ebay, Amazon or even in supermarkets :-) I remain at your disposal by email or phone if you would like further advice. Happy juggling!
I bought some chopsticks but the string keeps breaking, do these chopsticks break the string too? My string is Henry's though.
Are there any chopsticks that don't cut the string?
Thank you for your reply.
Of course, friction wears things out. This is the case regardless of the diabolo and regardless of your string. It's like the yo-yo, you have to change your strings from time to time. The lifespan of a string varies. A string can last a day or it can last you a few months. It depends on your way of practicing... If you are dynamic, nervous, or on the contrary more flexible and ample in your movements :-)
What brand or sticks do diabolo professionals use, as do circus people, for example?
According to our sales, 90% of high-level players use Henrys Pro string. The most commonly used colors are Orange and Yellow, which are the most visible. Some experienced diabolists use Babache string, which is thicker. It takes less time to wear down to get a good grip, but then it wears down very quickly, becoming too sticky to practice without the diabolo getting tangled in the string. Thus, professionals who use Mister Babache string will change their string 1 to 2 times per training session. Henrys string wins far ahead of all other string manufacturers.
Can you tell me which baguettes are better between the Henrys and the Mister Babache aluminum ones?
THANKS.
Both models are equally good... They're pretty much the same product. The aluminum used by Henrys seems to be of better quality and scratches less easily.
Thank you for your answer which helped me a lot, however I asked for the sticks and not the string ;)
Hello, I would like to start playing diabolo. Having seen your videos, I was impressed and I don't know which one to take. I would like one that is cheap and quite durable.
Sincerely
In the inexpensive and durable series: Rubber Top, the Comet or even the Jester!
Hello, are carbon rods more or less strong than aluminum ones?
Sincerely
Strength is equivalent. The main difference between carbon and aluminum is weight. Carbon rods are much lighter than aluminum rods.
Good morning,
Are these chopsticks sold in pairs?
All chopsticks are sold in pairs, unless otherwise stated in the product description!!! :-)
Hello, it seems that these chopsticks are good, but that they wear out the string more quickly than others, is this true?
Between these sticks and the JCP aluminum sticks (at 10.50?) which ones wear out the strings the least?
Sincerely
Henry's wands are the best quality. But all wands wear out the string!
Hello, I'm looking for a pair of sticks that are good for throwing the diabolo very high. Thank you.
Any stick will work well for throwing a diabolo very high. Perhaps avoid the very short models for children...
Can you make slides with an aluminum diabolo?
And I'm 12 years old, isn't a 280g diabolo with aluminum sticks a bit heavy?
Thank you.^^
Yes, aluminum sticks are the most suitable sticks for doing slides. No, if you are strong, 280g will not be too heavy for you! :-)
Which rod (that does not exceed 20 euros) and string are best for ball bearing axles with circus shells?
thanks in advance
I just bought some 38cm baguettes. Did I do the right thing?
Are they good?
We don't comment on what our competitors sell... Maybe a juggler can answer your question?
Hello, I'm hesitating between this model and the Super Grind knowing that I'm a beginner, what would you advise me?
THANKS
Aluminum sticks are heavier... Both models are equally good for beginners... You can't go wrong with your choice.
How do I convince my parents to help me buy a diabolo?
Ha ha! If you find it, I'm sure there are plenty of other kids who will want to know the technique!
I am a beginner and I do some tricks and my budget is 30 euros
Hello, I am the parent of an 11-year-old child.
I decided to buy him a diabolo when I saw him doing it
I didn't know he played the diabolo at school and at the holiday camp.
One day he came home with a diabolo and showed me what he could do.
Since that day, I'm the one who buys him diabolos of all sizes so that he can progress.
Good luck
If he's really motivated, a good Circus or a good Finesse will be ideal! Then there are more entertaining diabolos like the ball-bearing diabolos (the Cyclone or the Hurricane).
It's the same for me too.
Does shipping cost 3 euros for these aluminum bags?
Shipping for these baguettes is indeed 3 euros. But this shipping rate is valid if you order only this item! Otherwise, it's our current flat rate. Be careful, however, with our 3-euro delivery, there's no tracking or insurance! That said, it's a reliable delivery.
Would you soon be selling titanium sticks at an affordable price and the diabolo finesse shells?
The titanium chopsticks cost 45 euros. They're not yet on our website at the time of writing this message. They're quite expensive, but titanium isn't cheap! Otherwise, there are aluminum chopsticks like this one at much more reasonable prices. For more information and if you'd like further advice, don't hesitate to call me at 05.87.70.50.44
and the shells of the diabolo finess sold separately??
Titanium chopsticks are now available at: http://www.netjuggler.net/achat/baguettes-titanium.html For the Finesse cases, sorry I don't sell them separately!
I ordered these chopsticks and received chopsticks with a blue foam handle. Is this normal?
Contact us by phone, we'll look into it. If you ordered a diabolo kit + sticks + DVD, that's normal, otherwise it might be a mistake, in which case, we'll try to fix it as soon as possible! Call, I'll help you!
Do you sell phosphorescent wands????
Yes, we sell glow-in-the-dark wands. You need to search for Energy wands on our website and choose the glow-in-the-dark ones.
do you have titanium chopsticks
it's coming, we'll have it soon...
yeah
I confess
What is the best type of aluminum or carbon rod and which is more durable?
for a juggler with a professional diabolo?
THANKS.
Hello,
Honestly, all the chopsticks we have hold up pretty well. Our beechwood chopsticks are sturdy, and the aluminum ones are also very sturdy. The other models are just as sturdy, but they'll wear out more, especially if you do a lot of genocides or drop chopsticks.
Carbon, however, provides a certain flexibility compared to aluminum rods which are super rigid.
in carbon
I've been playing diabolo with Henry aluminum sticks for a short time, but I easily wear out the string at the end of the sticks. Do you have any tips, or is it just the wear of the stick that can make it sharper?
THANKS
I don't have any tips! And there isn't one! The string needs to be changed regularly. The Extreme aluminum sticks also wear out the string less, so maybe that's an avenue to explore.
I'm actually hesitant to buy aluminum chopsticks. Are they durable? Does the string last long?
(something I didn't understand about the purchase: it's €12.50 but what about the shipping costs? How much is it?)
Thank you for responding quickly.
Shipping costs are indicated at the top right of this page ;-) For the string, you should know that it wears out! It is impossible to tell you if it will last you a day, 4 days, a week or more! It all depends on how often you practice and especially if you are violent or not! Beginners tend to wear out a lot of string because they are violent to accelerate their diabolo! The string sold by default on these sticks is a little thick and therefore ideal for beginners. If you intend to practice a lot, I advise you to buy a roll of Henrys Pro string in addition, it is of good quality and the string is more resistant. Be careful, it also wears out! There is no miracle solution to not wear out the string, there is a significant amount of friction when practicing diabolo!
I heard that with infinite throwing the chopsticks can bend. True or not???
Yes, that's right! These sticks are made of aluminum. It's very strong, it's even one of the strongest models for diabolo, but if you start hitting them hard on the ground while learning to do infinite throws, they will indeed bend a little! It's inevitable... Just like wooden sticks will eventually break, carbon sticks will too, and that will wear out all other types of sticks... But aluminum sticks have the advantage of being able to be put back more or less straight...
I have aluminum rods, the wire breaks, is this normal? They are a little damaged at the end, but is this normal please?
String wears out! It's normal! Are you a brute? This generally happens much more often with young beginners who don't act like brutes, accelerating their diabolos non-stop to 200 km/h! Calm down, young padawan! You have to control your strength and take it easy with a little less stress! You'll see that you'll wear out your string less and that you'll even be able to give more speed to your diabolo with less jerky movements! We sell spools of string on this website.
I have aluminum rods, the wire breaks, is this normal? They are a little damaged at the end, but is this normal please?
See the answer to the question above!
Your wire is not a diabolo wire, so it breaks!
I put at the address*
Hello, I placed my order and I have the residence address because I thought I had to say his or her address. Is this serious and will I still receive my package?
This place is specifically for talking about aluminum baguettes! And not for talking about your order ;-) You can give us a call at 05.87.70.50.44 or use the support (button at the top right of this page)...
Is the wire also inside the stick, attached to the end of the stick so that the string does not get stuck?
I don't understand your question! The string goes through the end of the stick and a knot allows it to be attached to the side of the stick... The image in the description is pretty self-explanatory... Unless I misunderstood your question, in which case, could you rephrase it?
To make slides you need carbon or aluminum rods
I think you can do it with both...
You can do it with any type of sticks actually... But the thinner the sticks, the longer you'll be able to make slides... So aluminum sticks will allow you to have better results with this trick...
What is the best diabolo for two people?
there aren't any but the finesse are good you just have to have the same ones not the same color it doesn't matter after that it's you who chooses the diabolo that you like the most
I have a question for you: are the aluminum rods not too short? The shortest are between 32 and 35 cm.
No
The length of aluminum rods is ideal because they are rigid, longer rods are interesting for carbon rods for example because this allows for more flexibility...
So I'm hesitating between Henrys aluminum sticks or Henrys carbon sticks.
It's a matter of taste above all. To put it simply, aluminum sticks are rigid and carbon sticks are more flexible, which will provide a certain comfort...
The best diabolo is still the Henrys Circus, nothing will replace it, it has the ideal weight and never deforms unless you do it on purpose. Honestly, I've tested almost all of them, I'll keep my good big Circus Mint ^^
No, jazz is not here
I'm starting to play diabolo, I know how to do it but I'm having a bit of trouble, what would you advise me?
Aluminum sticks are among the best sticks you can choose as a beginner. They are comfortable to use, and are relatively thin, which makes it easy to do several tricks, including tricks that are practiced when you are starting out: "Slides." These tricks consist of rolling the diabolo on the sticks... These tricks can be done regardless of the type of sticks you use, but will be made easier with these sticks... If you are looking for a good diabolo to start with, depending on your budget, we recommend the COMET or the JAZZ. If you intend to practice a lot and do many tricks, then the Finesse and Circus diabolos are excellent. These are the two models most used by professionals.
We are two brothers (6 & 10 years old) with a common passion: Diabolo!! Respectively carbon and aluminum sticks, we started with wooden sticks but nothing to do with them...especially for the slide and the stick release.
is it easier than with wooden sticks ????????
The feel is different with aluminum sticks. Aluminum sticks are more comfortable to use than wooden sticks thanks to their EVA foam handle. The sticks are thinner than wooden sticks, which makes it easier to do "slides" where the diabolo is now rotating, balanced on a stick. Remember that one type of stick is not necessarily easier to use than another, but it's a question of comfort above all.
The most versatile sticks on the market, at an attractive price too. However, as you progress you will tend to use them more for 2 or 3 diabolos, the rigidity of aluminum compared to carbon being an advantage for some when it comes to juggling stability.
Hugo Orliaguet
These baguettes are really great, easy to handle, comfortable, really the best and not expensive too.
PS: it's better to buy a Henry's Jazz diabolo and some fluorescent yellow string with it, it's the best.^^
me me
The Henrys Jazz diabolo is indeed a very good diabolo for all beginners. It is the little brother of the Circus diabolo manufactured by Henrys, a German brand renowned for the quality of its equipment.
