Ceiling anchoring plate for aerial equipment

Tray sold individually , supplied with 3 concrete anchoring studs or 3 wood screws depending on whether you choose the version for concrete ceiling or the version for fixing on beam. (In the photos, there are examples of assembly with swivels/pivots which are not supplied with the tray).
Robust galvanized steel plate 6 mm thick without welding, to anchor any aerial equipment to the domestic ceiling (fabrics, hoops, trapezes, ropes).

The plate has a diameter of 12cm and the distance between holes is less than 10cm, allowing it to be attached to reinforced concrete joists commonly found in domestic slabs. Always consult an experienced professional to determine if the ceiling or beam to which you wish to attach your anchor point is suitable for this purpose.
The eyelet is equipped with a wear-resistant silicone protection compatible with all carabiners, Quick Link and Swivel on the market.

Examples of aerial equipment anchors:
In the example below the board is shown with a Swivel Open Camp then with a carabiner. (The pivot and the carabiner are not supplied with the plate, they are shown here only for a better understanding of the anchor plate.)

The photos above show the bolts supplied with the concrete ceiling version.
An economical and safe solution for practicing aerial acrobatics at home in complete safety.
Version for concrete ceiling:
The plate is supplied with 3 certified anti-seismic concrete anchors for which it is necessary to drill 12 mm holes in the ceiling. You will need to carry out a chemical seal for this type of installation. You have the choice between a silver/metal colored version or a white painted version.
The bolts supplied with the concrete anchor plates have a length of 10cm each.
The overall bearing capacity of the bracket could be around 1830 kg, a value more than capable of ensuring the use of this board for aerial practice.
When setting up the tray, the depth of the hole and its cleanliness are extremely important. Incorrect drilling irreparably compromises the strength characteristics of the anchor plate.
Chemical sealing is not supplied with the anchor plate. Contact your DIY store.
Version for fixing on beam:
The plate is supplied with 3 wood screw type anchors. You have the choice between a silver/metal colored version or a white painted version.
The installation of the tray must be done in solid wood (beam). If you install it on glued laminated wood, you will have approximately 15% less resistance than in solid wood.
The overall bearing capacity of the support could be around 1500 kg (solid wood), a value more than capable of ensuring the use of this board for aerial practice.
The screws provided each have a length of 10cm
Characteristics of the anchor plate:
- Total diameter of the tray: 12cm.
- Diameter of the 3 holes: 1cm.
- Distance between each hole: less than 10cm.
- Thickness: 6mm.
- Material: Galvanized steel.
- Diameter of the hole for the hook: 11mm (see the list of compatible components further down on this page).

Installation safety information:
The installation of this anchor plate must be carried out by a qualified technician who must provide you with adequate written documentation certifying the adequacy of the fixing of the support to the ceiling, in order to avoid possible risks for the end user .
Before any installation and use, refer to the documentation downloadable here .
Rubber protection ring
The protective rubber ring only works for aerial fabric placement. It also works to use with pulleys to create a dynamic anchor point as well as if you use the anchor tray on walls to attach a rope system to create a dynamic anchor point.
If you attach any other aerial equipment directly, any rubber or other protective material will never be strong enough to handle the pressure, so you will have to work without the rubber ring. It is no problem to work without the rubber protection, it will be like any other metal plate on the market. Just make sure you use a steel carabiner or link as it is recommended to use the same material as the plate. Aluminum carabiners may wear out more quickly. If you look closely, the edges of the hole have a rounding which prevents any damage to the carabiner even without the rubber protection.
Rubber is an interesting element on more complex systems because it erases all metal when used.
We would like to remind that many dynamic figures that can be performed on aerial acrobatic props can develop a pulling load of up to 10 times the athlete's body weight. Creating a safe and reliable anchor point is not only essential for your safety, but allows you to practice your favorite disciplines without worries and therefore in a completely enriching and productive way.
Important information:
- BLL 30 kN = approx. 3000 kilograms.
- CMU 40 daN = approx. 400 kilograms.
- Safety factor 7.
IF YOU INSTALL THE PLATE USING SCREWS FOR WOODEN BEAMS, HERE ARE THE BLL and WLL VALUES OF THE 3 SCREWS CORRECTLY INSTALLED IN THE WOODEN BEAMS:
- BLL 15 kN = approx. 1500 kilograms.
- CMU 20 daN = approx. 200 kilograms.
- Safety factor 7.
IF YOU INSTALL THE PLATE USING NUTS FOR CONCRETE, HERE ARE THE VALUES RELATING TO BLL and WLL of the 3 NUTS CORRECTLY INSTALLED IN CONCRETE:
- BLL 18 kN = approx. 1800 kilograms.
- CMU 25 daN = approx. 250 kilograms.
- Safety factor 7.
ATTENTION !
A system's workload and resistance to failure are determined by the weakest link in the chain. This means that in reference to the anchor plate you must always refer to the WLL and BLL of the FASTENERS used for the installation.
Always consult an experienced professional to determine if the ceiling or beam to which you intend to attach your anchor point is suitable for this purpose.
Please note that many of the dynamic figures that can be performed on aerobatic equipment can develop a pulling load of up to 10 times the athlete's body weight. Creating a safe and reliable anchor point is not only essential for your safety, but allows you to practice your favorite disciplines without worry and therefore in a completely rewarding and productive way.
Good morning,
Can you give me the center distance of the different holes? I have to fix them to plates on IPN and therefore not drill the IPN which is 65mm wide.
Thank you.
Good morning,
I bought this tray and I need to fix it to the ceiling (concrete).
On your site, you indicate that you must drill with a 12mm drill bit and then apply a chemical seal.
In the instructions for use for the tray that you linked, it is recommended to drill with a 10mm drill bit, insert the dowel and then screw it in because it is an expansion dowel.
So, I'm lost. Why do you recommend a different installation method than the one in the manual?
In the meantime, have a nice day.
Please take into account the information in what you receive. It is possible that the manufacturer has made a modification to the bolts supplied with the anchor plate.
Hello, would it be possible to fix these plates in hollow concrete blocks?
Thank you very much and have a nice day.
Installing aerial circus equipment (such as trapezes, hoops, or silks) on a hollow concrete block ceiling requires careful assessment of the structural strength and safety. In general, a hollow concrete block ceiling can present risks and limitations for this type of installation due to its nature. Here are some points to consider: Load-bearing capacity: Hollow concrete blocks are not designed to support heavy loads, especially dynamic ones such as aerial movements in circus circles. The structure may be damaged or collapse under the weight and forces exerted. Reinforcement Required: If you plan to install overhead fixtures on a hollow concrete block ceiling, it is crucial to consult a structural engineer or qualified professional. They will be able to assess whether the ceiling can be reinforced or if additional anchors can be installed to secure the installation. Alternatives: In many cases, it is recommended to attach the overhead beams to steel or solid wood beams, or to a structure specifically designed to support this type of load. These structures are generally more suitable and safer. Safety First: Safety is paramount when it comes to aerial installations. It is essential to ensure that the installation is capable of supporting at least five times the intended weight to prevent accidents. In summary, a hollow concrete block ceiling alone is generally not sufficient for safely installing aerial circus equipment. It is strongly recommended to consult a professional to evaluate possible solutions and ensure a safe installation.

Good morning,
Is it possible to fix it to a beam in the roof?
Thank you for your answers.
It is essential that your installation be secured to a load-bearing beam capable of withstanding approximately one ton of pressure. To achieve this, I strongly recommend consulting a professional: an architect, mason, or carpenter. They will be able to guide you to ensure a safe and solid installation. The mere fact that you're asking yourself this question is already a sign that you're taking things seriously, which is a good thing! But, to be completely honest, it can also be a little worrying. After all, you'll be hanging an installation that will support a human life—probably that of someone you care about! So please, don't take any risks and make sure everything is done properly. Better safe than sorry, especially in this kind of situation!
Good morning,
If the anchor plate is installed on the side of a beam, therefore vertically, does the ring have the same resistance? Or at least is it still resistant for an aerial hoop?
THANKS.
Good morning,
Do you have an answer to this question? I am in the same situation.
THANKS,
Hello, I would like to install this system on a stone ceiling. Do you think this is feasible?
Thank you for your feedback.
By drilling and using the concrete version, this will be possible using a chemical seal. Have your installation checked by an approved organization or a mason.
Thank you for your feedback and these details.
What should I do if after a few years, the silicone around the eyelet gets old? Can I change the silicone? Or can I take the entire anchoring plate off and put up a new one using the same screw holes? Do I need to drill new holes on my ceiling?
The rubber protection ring is working only if you attach aerial silk, or pulleys for creating a moving anchor point, as well as if you use the plate on the walls for fixing a rope part of a system to create the moving anchor point. If you attach directly any other aerial equipment any rubber or other protective material will never be strong enough to hold the pressure so you have to work without it. It is not a problem to work without rubber protection though, it will be like any other metal plate on the market. Just make sure to use a steel carabiner because it is recommended to use the same material as the plate. Aluminium carabiners could wear faster. If you look closer the edges of the hole have a radius that prevents any damage to the carabiner even without the rubber protection. The rubber is a good thing on more complex systems because it erases any metal sound during use. So please use the plates with absolute confidence without rubber rings.
Good morning,
Having two damaged silicone protectors on two anchor plates, I would like to know if it is possible to change them and where to buy them?
THANKS
The rubber protection ring only works for setting up an aerial silk. It also works for use with pulleys to create a dynamic anchor point as well as if you are using the anchor plate on walls to attach a rope from a system to create a dynamic anchor point. If you attach any other aerial equipment directly, any rubber or other protective material will never be strong enough to withstand the pressure, so you will have to work without the rubber ring. It is not a problem to work without the rubber protection, it will be like any other metal anchor plate on the market. Just make sure you use a steel carabiner or link, as it's recommended to use the same material as the plate. Aluminum carabiners may wear out more quickly. If you look closely, the edges of the hole are rounded, which prevents any damage to the carabiner even without the rubber protection. Rubber is a nice feature on more complex systems because it erases any metallic sound when in use.
Hello, what is the length of the screws/anchors for the concrete version?
For the beam version I see that they are 10 cm screws. Thank you
The bolts for concrete anchoring are also 10cm long.
Good morning
What is the diameter of the screws for a concrete anchor please?
Thanks in advance
The bolts are included with the kit. These are certified earthquake-resistant anchors; you can find all the information in the product description. It's more a matter of bolt strength than diameter. The holes on the plate are 1 cm in diameter to accommodate these bolts. There are three holes, and therefore three bolts, supplied with the concrete kit. If you have any questions about your installation, do not hesitate to contact us directly by phone or email for more personalized advice; our contact details are at the top of the site.
Hello, is it possible to remove the small rubber from the hole in the inking?
The rubber can be removed. The rubber protection ring is for use only when setting up an aerial silk. It also works well with pulleys to create a dynamic anchor point, as well as when using the anchor plate on walls to attach a rope to a system to create a dynamic anchor point. It's no problem to work without the rubber protection; it will be just like any other metal plate on the market. Just make sure you use a steel carabiner or link, as it is recommended to use the same material as the plate. Aluminum carabiners may wear out more quickly. If you look closely, the edges of the hole have a rounding that prevents any damage to the carabiner even without the rubber protection.
Can we hang it on the side of the beam and not underneath the beam?
If so, what would be the maximum load?
By placing on the side of a beam it is entirely possible and you will have a greater load than the load recommended by the manufacturer because your screws will be horizontal and will therefore have less force exerted on them at an equivalent load. If you have the possibility of screwing on the side of a beam it will be even better than screwing your tray under a beam.
Great, thanks.
What is the diameter of the hole where the carabiner is attached please?
Good morning,
Now the hole is oval in shape. It measures 2cm long and about one centimeter wide.
Good morning,
Can the plate be fixed to the ground in concrete so that an aerial can be hung using a pulley?
What if I have a beam that is slightly diagonal and I can still attach it to it even though the load will be a little skewed?
The plate can be placed on a floor without any problem; make sure your floor is strong enough to withstand this type of force. To be sure, I recommend consulting a design firm or an architect. Only they can confirm that your project is viable.
It's possible to install it on a cross beam. However, your beam must be load-bearing or capable of supporting approximately 1 ton of pressure to attach overhead equipment.
Hello, can we put the fixing vertically to install it on a mezzanine wall, thank you in advance.
This tray can be used in a vertical position. The screws will have an even greater load capacity in this position than in a horizontal position.
Hello, I wanted to know if it was safe to fix this tray on a concrete slab ceiling? (according to the building manager, no ducts or anything) In this case what equipment should I use? (drill? perforator?) Thanks in advance.
To install this anchor plate in concrete you will need a drill with a 1cm diameter concrete drill bit. However, before installing the platform, check with a building professional: architect, mason or design firm to ensure that the concrete ceiling can support this type of anchor point. Because the force exerted on this plate can be close to 500 to 700 kg, you will therefore need a ceiling capable of withstanding approximately 1 ton of pressure. This pressure is distributed over the 3 bolts provided, each capable of withstanding approximately 700 kg of pressure.
Good morning,
What is the exact distance between the holes? I read that it's less than 10 cm, but I'd like more precision.
Thanking you,
Good morning, It's difficult to tell you the exact distance between the holes. Measuring with a tape measure, I get about 8cm between each hole center. Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any further questions.
Hello, do you know of an organization in Lyon that can come and install the hoop anchors on a beam and certify the installation?
Thanks in advance
Hello, I don't know of any specialized organizations in Lyon, but I invite you to contact us by phone. Our number is at the top of the website.
Good morning,
What is the weight limit for this anchor point?
Cdr.
On a wooden beam, the weight is approximately 1500 kg (on solid wood), see the product description. On a concrete ceiling, provided you have a ceiling capable of supporting this type of anchor: approximately 1800 kg. In both cases, the installation must have been carried out correctly.
Good morning,
What is the diameter of this anchor?
THANKS
The total diameter of the piece is 12cm as indicated in the description. I took a photo for you that I added to the description with the dimensions to make it clearer :-). The holes each have a diameter of 1cm. Do not hesitate to call directly by phone if you have any questions, it will be a pleasure.
