Atlas yo-yo

Irresponsive yo-yo, sold individually, with a string.
4A yo-yo - Offstring:
This is a large yo-yo with a flared shape allowing the yo-yo to be easily caught on the string when launched.
Tricks such as the trapeze for example, will be much easier to perform.
The Atlas Moth yo-yo excels in the 4A (Offstring) style of play which consists of detaching the yo-yo from the string. The yo-yo then acts a bit like a diabolo.
NetJuggler's opinion:
With a clear plastic finish, and its butterfly shape, this yo-yo is ideal for shows and performances. It is also a favorite for teaching the discipline because of its size and ease of use.
A yo-yo at an attractive price that allows you to have fun in the discipline of 4A (Offstring). Simple and robust construction. The first thing we did while using it was to remove the translucent shells on the sides ... We find it prettier this way.
Characteristics of the 4A yo-yo:
- Irresponsive yo-yo.
- Weight of the yo-yo: 68 grams.
- Type of shells: Soft plastic.
- Diameter: 75 mm.
- Length: 49 mm.
What kind of use?
Yo-yo designed to do 4A. The 4A is the Offstring yo-yo discipline. The yo-yo is then detached from its string. The discipline is somewhat reminiscent of the diabolo, and moreover, some tricks can be alike in the two disciplines. On the other hand, it will be necessary to rewind the yo-yo by throwing the string around its axis before relaunching it to give it a new speed of rotation.
This yo-yo also works for doing 1A because it is irresponsive. It will work very well in this discipline provided you use a thin string or a little worn string. The central gap is not quite enough to excel in the discipline of 1A with a thick yo-yo string.
Very good yoyo for beginners in 4A.
The dimensions are smaller than the flight (yoyofactory) but its coating makes it super resistant in case of a fall.
The yoyo is very solid (I guarantee that).
Easy to handle and quite heavy, its coating doesn't make it an excellent yo-yo for tip grind tricks (no worries though, you can do them, but it's not excellent in this area).
I definitely recommend it if you need to start 4A.
I want to apologize for deleting someone's post asking if this yoyo model was responsive or irresponsive. Here's my response:
Responsive or irresponsive?
The Atlas Moth yo-yo is unresponsive. There was indeed an error in the description on the website that I just updated. I also added some information at the bottom of the description about its 1A / 4A responsiveness.
Could I know the dimensions of this yoyo?
Diameter: 75 mm
Length: 49 mm
Hello, I would like to know if this yo-yo is responsive or non-responsive.
That's a great question. This yoyo tends to be irresponsive. It's intended for off-string use primarily and will perform well primarily for practicing with the yoyo off the string. If you're looking for a larger, soft plastic yoyo that's more irresponsive, I'd recommend the Henrys Viper Neo XL yoyo .
Does the infinity atlas yoyo have soft sides?
Indeed, the Atlas yo-yo has soft shells allowing it to absorb shocks when it falls to the ground.
I'm thinking of starting soon but I don't know which yo-yo to choose, knowing that I don't know anything about it. I would like some help please.
Thanks in advance
To begin, one of the best yoyos we offer is the Blaze. This yoyo comes with two ball bearings. The first makes the yoyo work like a normal yoyo. The second ball bearing allows for more professional use by making it irresponsive.
The most interesting yoyos are certainly those in the Infinity range, which are made entirely of metal, but they require some experience before you can fully enjoy their features.
What is the best value for money between the Atlas yoyo and the Blaze yoyo?
Hello, I would like to know if this yoyo has a lot of endurance or not, and balance? Thanks in advance :)
All the yoyos in the Infinity range are excellent yoyos. Well balanced. It is equipped with a ball bearing so it can stay down for a long time!
