NetJuggler's review of Kevlar gloves:
- NetJuggler has this model made in black, especially for shows so that the gloves are more discreet. You can use them for many different purposes to protect your hands when using fire equipment.
- With Kevlar gloves, you can enjoy good juggling sessions of 1 to 3 minutes with the fire balls that you will find on our site.
- Be careful though, the gloves do not stop 100% of the heat, the temperature of the balls will increase.
- You will need to space out the sessions so that the balls have time to cool between each use.
Here is a more detailed point on the use of gloves with fire juggling balls. On spiral fire balls like those from the manufacturer Fyrefli, there is no need to use fire gloves. But you can use them for safety, especially if you are a beginner.
On other models like the fireballs from the manufacturer Freaks , you will need gloves. Be careful though, the balls must be in motion all the time and you need long breaks between each session so that the balls cool down. If the sessions are close together, your hands will get hotter and hotter. After a few sessions, you will be forced to stop.
Fireballs are generally used for a WOW effect in shows for relatively short sessions. It is not like torches that can be used for hours, session after session. Fireballs are also used for photo or video effects.
If you want to do long juggling sessions, fire balls are not the recommended apparatus.
