Diabolo Circus Free equipped with a triple bearings:
What differentiates this diabolo from the traditional Circus diabolo are the characteristics of its axis equipped with three bearings.
The advantage of a bearing system is to extend the duration of the rotation of the diabolo which will be able to spin for several minutes without needing to be constantly accelerated. It then becomes easier to chain tricks.
NetJuggler's opinion:
There's a good reason why the Circus diabolo is the entertainment professionals favourite. Its weight has been well thought about and it is suitable for an intensive practice by performing the most complex tricks. The Circus Free is equipped with a triple bearing, which makes it ideal for the vertax.
For the dissatisfied, Henrys and other manufacturers made a range of different axis sets which allow you to modify the configuration of your diabolo. Discover these sets in the section: Henrys diabolo sets.
Characteristics of the Circus Free:
- Diameter: Ø 130mm.
- Height: 150mm.
- Weight: 292g.
- Axis: Triple ball bearing.
- A black and white colour code on each side of the axis, allows you to determine the direction of use of the diabolo.
- Cups: flexible with shape memory.
The Circus Free diabolo is compatible with all of the Circus diabolo tuning sets. You can thus customize your diabolo with the multitude of different axis that we sell.
What kind of use ?
This high-end diabolo can be used by beginners and experienced diabolists.
For children, we recommend the medium-sized diabolos.
NetJuggler tips:
If you are a beginner, NetJuggler advises you to take a reel of string with your order. Indeed, beginners with dry and jerky movements wear out the strings very quickly, in a few hours, where the same string can last a few weeks for an experienced diabolist. This may save you from having to pay shipping fees again when your string is worn out.
Information about the manufacturer Henrys:

Henrys is a German brand which all professionals in the juggling world will recommend to you. Their material is known to be robust, it is designed for intensive use.
NetJuggler infos on bearing diabolos:
If you are not familiar with ball bearing diabolos, the principle is as it follows: once your diabolo picks up speed, it will hold it much longer than a normal axis diabolo. Here are some of the benefits:
- Up to 20 times longer spin time than a normal diabolo.
- Possibility to do many tricks without having to re-accelerate your diabolo.
- Wide axis to facilitate many tricks.
- Minimal friction between the axis and the sticks during grinds / slides.
- Limits friction when practicing vertax (vertical axis of the diabolo)
Children and beginners will love it because its axis will allow very long grinds, allowing to catch the diabolo on the handsticks or even on the fingers!
Triple bearing for experienced diabolists:The interest for an experienced diabolist will be to facilitate excalibur (or vertax) tricks, in which the diabolo will be used in a horizontal plane (with its axis vertical).
Triple bearing for teachers:Teachers will have plenty of time to explain tricks to beginners because the diabolo does not stop spinning ! No need to be an expert to teach new tricks.

A few drawbacks or limitations of the ball bearings : it becomes impossible to do all the elevator tricks. These bearing diabolos are not made to practice with several diabolos at the same time (except vertax), because they will spin too quickly on the string compared to diabolos equipped with normal axis. It may be necessary to change the bearing system once the bearing balls show wear, which of course never happens on a normal diabolo!
Good morning,
I bought a circus in mid-July. I used it regularly (on average every 2 days). An experienced friend pointed out to me that my diabolo tends to get out of alignment, in the sense that it leans to one side, even when you don't move it, just let it spin on the string. Do you know what could explain this?
THANKS.
Good morning,
This can come from several things: either you are not giving enough speed to your diabolo, and it slows down and becomes misaligned, which is normal. Or you are tilting your string in relation to the axis of the diabolo and, indeed, losing speed, it will turn. Or there is a defect on the axis of the diabolo, but this is extremely rare on this type of diabolo. I invite you to film and send me a video by email, you have the email at the top of the site. And so I will look and I will be able to advise you and/or intervene.
Have a nice day,
I love what I just bought CIRCUS FREE + SUPER GRIND BAGUETTE, it's been a long time since I juggled, it's a bit like cycling, right?
It's great with ball bearings compared to the famous Babach, what's the point of using aluminum or other sticks?!
Aluminum sticks are versatile and allow you to touch a little bit of everything. Fiber sticks are lighter and allow you to better feel your diabolo in the string. Often, fiber sticks are slightly flexible, which allows the diabolo to be cushioned in the string and this will provide a certain comfort. On the other hand, it allows you to be less precise because this flexibility can create a slight delay between the moment you give an order and the moment the diabolo kicks in. Some diabolists love fiber sticks, others, on the contrary, do not like them at all.
Good morning,
I would like to know if the Circus Free diabolo exists in phosphorescent because I have a phosphorescent Mister Babache Tornado.
Sincerely
Good morning, Unfortunately, this diabolo is no longer available in glow-in-the-dark version. You may be able to find this model, but only second-hand.
Does a triple bearing diabolo make less noise than a single bearing one?
Silent triple bearing diabolo
A triple-bearing diabolo consists of two ball bearings on each side and a one-way cylindrical bearing in the center. The ball bearings on each side of the axle prevent the central cylindrical bearing from wearing out. A single-bearing diabolo therefore tends to wear out more quickly than a triple-bearing diabolo and will therefore make more noise.
I don't know if my explanation is very clear ;-). Don't hesitate to give us a call :-)Thank you for this quick response. Is the Henry's Circus Free equipped with a triple bearing?
Circus Free equipped with triple bearings
Yes :-). This diabolo is well equipped with an axle mounted on triple bearings. If you read the paragraph with the technical characteristics of the diabolo you will be able to learn more about the diabolo :-) Otherwise of course you can always call :-)
What is the best type of diabolo between the Sundia Shining Diabolo and the Circus Free? Tell me about the difference between the Exalibure, which one rolls the longest, etc. =)
Hello, as an amateur I play outdoors and it often falls, I practice with a medium babache (around 20e) and I am asking for advice to know if I take the circus free or the vision free, thank you and have a good day
The Vision Free and Circus Free diabolos are both excellent diabolos. If you practice Vertax or want to get into it, then a larger diabolo will allow you to achieve better performance. In this case, I recommend you opt for a diabolo equipped with large ball bearings like the Circus Free. Otherwise, go for the Vision Free, as it offers just as good performance as the Circus Free. If you would like further advice or have any other questions, don't hesitate to give us a call :-)
Good juggling
Hello, is it normal for the bearing mechanism to have play? That is, the axle constantly moves back and forth during use, which doesn't prevent it from being used, but is quite unpleasant.
Good morning,
No, this is not normal; your axle may not be properly tightened. You can tighten it using the nuts located inside the shells.
In any case, do not hesitate to contact us by email or telephone.
Sincerely,
Hello, no, the diabolo is tight, I checked and the play is indeed coming from the part containing the axle and the bearings. I'll send you an email.
What is Phospho color?
Good morning,
"Phospho" for phosphorescent, meaning that the diabolo will capture daylight and retransmit it in the dark. It will glow in the dark. During the day, the color of this diabolo is off-white/beige.
Sincerely,
Good morning,
I would like to know if the Circus Free diabolo has soft shells?
Thanks in advance.
Circus diabolo shells are flexible and have shape memory. They deform when the diabolo is dropped and then return to their round shape. These are certainly the most robust diabolo shells.
They also have the particularity of being very easy to clean. So a Circus diabolo that has been used intensively for several years can be washed to become almost new again!Hello, how can I clean it? Thanks in advance for any advice.
I invite you to consult this page for help cleaning a diabolo: Cleaning your diabolo
Hello, I would like to buy a Circus Free diabolo but I would like to know what color the diabolo is at the bottom right. Thank you for your reply. Is it green or phosphorescent?
It's green :-)
What is the difference between jazz and circus free?
The difference between the Jazz Free and the Circus Free is the size of the diabolos. The Jazz Free is a medium-sized diabolo, while the Circus Free is a large diabolo. Large diabolos are more stable and have greater inertia.
Be careful, however, up to the age of 10, we recommend the Jazz Free because the Circus Free is heavier and therefore tiring for a child to use. Both are equipped with ball bearings, giving them a rotation time approximately 20 times longer than a normal diabolo.
I have an advanced level and I want to know if this diabolo meets my expectations or not.
Thank you in advance for your reply.
Hello, can we do infinite releases?
It's more complicated than with a diabolo without bearings because the diabolo picks up a lot of speed.
Hello, what is the size of this Circus Free Henrys diabolo?
Size: Ø 130mm x 150mm
Weight: 292g
The green diabolo does not match the photo, it is more dark green and not sea green.
The one you wanted was phosphorus because green is a dark green.
Is the circus free rolling quieter than the hurricane?
Yes, the Circus Free bearings are actually a little quieter than the Hurricane diabolo bearings.
Hi, who is better suited for vertax, Circus Free or Hurricane? Thanks.
Both diabolos are excellent for Vertax. We're seeing more experienced users opting for the Hurricane.
Hello, I would like to order a turquoise Circus Free. I don't have a choice of this color on the menu, what should I do? Thank you in advance.
On our website, you can only buy the colors in stock, so we can always deliver to you quickly and well! If the turquoise color is not displayed on the day you posted your message, it is because there is none! We are rarely out of stock on Circus diabolos, which are among our best sellers, it will be available again in turquoise in a few days. Thank you for your patience.
Good morning,
I'm a beginner, but I'm looking for a high-performance diabolo that's suitable for my "big" size (:-)). Is this diabolo suitable?
Also, I would like to know if the shells are soft or hard...because it is intended to fall on the ground often...for the moment ;-)
THANKS :-)
The Circus Free is a high-end diabolo ideal for teenagers and adults of all sizes. It may be a little heavy for a child, so it would be better to opt for a diabolo equipped with medium-sized bearings. The shells are soft on this diabolo, as is the case with almost all the diabolos we sell. And don't worry, whatever the level of the diabolist, we're always trying to learn new tricks, so a diabolo always falls a lot! They're made to take a beating. And the models from the German manufacturer Henrys are the most robust diabolos we have to offer. You won't be disappointed.
What are the differences between the Circus Free and the Hurricane? :)
The Circus is a diabolo with opaque shells and equipped with very high-precision bearings made in Germany. The Hurricane is a diabolo with translucent shells with a very robust bearing system but may be a little less efficient than those of the Circus diabolo. On the other hand, the shape of the diabolo and the Hurricane's bearing system are more suitable for practicing Vertax where the diabolos are used in a horizontal plane.
Hello, I would like to know what the differences are between the Cyclone diabolo and the Circus Free diabolo. Thank you for your response.
The Cyclone diabolo is a medium-sized diabolo equipped with ball bearings. It is designed with entertainment in mind. The Circus FREE diabolo is a large diabolo equipped with ball bearings. It is designed for entertainment purposes but also for use by demanding professionals looking for performance. It will excel in particular for use in Vertax where the diabolo is in a horizontal plane.
Hello. I'm a beginner, I'm doing well and I really intend to get started. What diabolos do you recommend?
The bigger the diabolo, the more tricks you'll be able to perform because it will maintain the speed you give it for longer. So the Circus is an excellent choice, as are the Finesse, the Taibolo V2, the A-Dream, etc.
the pilot
is it a good diabolo?
The Circus diabolo is the most widely used diabolo among professionals. It's the best there is. This is the version equipped with ball bearings.
Is the Circus Free diabolo compatible with the light kit?
Yes, our light kit is compatible with the Circus Free diabolo.
I saw that there are diabolos circus free hub is it the same as free?
The hub is the kit that includes only the ball bearing without the diabolo shells! It is actually the same kit that equips the Circus Free diabolos.
Hello, do you sell used diabolos?
We don't sell used diabolos. However, we occasionally have some great deals available through our Facebook page :-)
Thank you for your very quick response :)
I don't really know what the advantages and disadvantages of Diablos with bearings are compared to those without bearings. Thanks in advance for your answers.
The ball bearing on a diabolo allows it to spin about 20 times longer than with a normal axle. The advantage is that it makes it easier to chain together tricks without having to constantly accelerate your diabolo. The Advantages: - Chain more figures more easily. - Use it as a teaching aid for a circus teacher to explain complex figures in slow motion. - On high-end models like the Circus, it is to be able to do Excalibur (Vertax) where the diabolo is used in a horizontal plane. The disadvantages: - Diabolos equipped with bearings spin very quickly and make it difficult to play with 2 or more diabolos. - Tricks based on the basic elevator trick will not work since a ball bearing diabolo will naturally go down instead of up on these tricks.
Hello, is there another lighter diabolo with which we can easily do Excalibur tricks?
Thanks in advance...
Hello, do you think this diabolo is light enough for a small 11 year old like me?
Thanks in advance...
If you have a small frame, opt for the Vision Free which is also equipped with ball bearings.
Hello, I'm looking for a triple ball bearing diabolo. Can you recommend one?
It all depends on what type of use you want to make of it... For pure entertainment, you have the Cyclone and the Cyclone Quartz which are tip top. If you want something more durable, you have the Vision Free and the Jazz Free. Otherwise if you are a serious diabolist who wants to do Vertax for example, then I recommend the Hurricane from Juggle Dream or the Circus FREE from Henrys.
Esquon can, with the order of the diabolo, have additional sticks on this site by paying for the sticks of course
Could I know the difference between a single-bearing diabolo and a three-bearing diabolo, please?
With three bearings, you have a ball bearing on each side of the axle and a unidirectional bearing in the center. The advantage of having a bearing on each side is to reduce friction and thus extend the spin time while significantly reducing the noise of the diabolo in motion.
it spins longer (rolling times 3)
Thank you
I'm a little bit experienced. Is this diabolo made for me?
Yes I am also a little experienced and he is great
Hello, I would like to know which diabolo to choose between the cyclone diabolo and the circus with triple ball bearings. Thank you for your next answers.
Sincerely
=) =) =) =) =) =) =) =) =)
ps I am very experienced ;)
We can't even choose the color
The color choice issue has been resolved! You seem to be hesitating between a model designed for fun: the Cyclone. And the Circus Free, a model designed for advanced use. The Circus Free will be ideal for practicing figs with Excalibur.
