DBs russian ball

This ball is sold individually. It is already filled and ready to be juggled with.
DBs balls:
DBs balls are Russian balls. The principle of this ball model is to have a very low weight with a limited filling of thin quartz sand. They are filled and pressurized in France with a partnership that we have with Bastien Dugas. Bastien is a professional juggler who manufactures his own juggling balls. After years of development in the art of creating balls, here's the DBs ball.
Having a limited filling allows them to have clean trajectories. When they fall from a significant height, they will land in the hands without rolling. The fact that the ball is not very full lowers its center of gravity.
Difference between DBs balls and other Russian balls:
The specificity of this ball is in the way it is manufactured. It is pressurized before being closed, which gives it a very round shape and allows the ball not to undergo deformation.
A rigorous selection is also made on the quality of the shell of the ball. A big proportion of balls are discarded during the manufacture of the DBs in order to have an envelope pleasant to take in hand.

Allows you to carry up to 6 balls like these. The bag will be automatically added to your order when being prepared if you order at least 5 of these balls. :-)
- The 70mm diameter allows for small to medium hands to easily hold 5 balls at the same time. Big advantage compared to a larger diameter ball.
- Super discreet filling hole compared to other Russian balls.
- The use of these balls will allow you to improve the stability of your juggling and to obtain cleaner trajectories making it easier to work on your new tricks.
- They are excellent for practicing balances because the weight is always at the bottom of the balls and therefore are very popular for so-called "pinball" and "bbb" juggling.
Characteristics of the DBs balls:
- Diameter: 70mm.
- Weight: 65 g.
- Shell: soft PVC.
- Ball pressurized during manufacture.
To see what the hole that was used for filling the ball looks like, you can see it in the photo where I hold a single ball in my hand. It's really discreet.
For what type of use ?
The DBs ball is ideal for experienced jugglers and for practicing with 5 balls and more.
Good morning,
Do you know how long the stock shortage can last?
Thanks in advance
These balls are amazing, different. Very light, they immediately make you want to have an airy and aerial juggle. The requirement of a Russian ball can also be an advantage: to improve your technique and rectify any faults. It is from 5 that you appreciate them the most in my opinion. The trajectories are impeccable - they really sit in the hands - and their lightness relieves the arms, allowing you to improve and enjoy your sessions more. They have very quickly become my favorite balls for "working" with 5 balls.
Can we stick to 3 balls or is it better to use it for 5 balls and more to fully benefit from its particular qualities as a "real Russian ball"?
What is the advantage or difference compared to Sil-X whose filling also lowers the center of gravity?
The weight of the DBS is really low compared to the Silx. The shell of the silx is softer but thicker, so the Russian ball effect is much stronger with the DBS ball. I say on my site that the SRX ball is a Russian ball, but in reality I should rather talk about a ball that is inspired by the principle of the Russian ball. The "real" Russian ball like the DBS (according to purists) has a stiffer and thinner shell and it is less heavy. The "real" Russian ball is really not pleasant to juggle or to touch for someone who does not "live" the Russian ball experience. It is very particular to use as a ball. In my opinion (very subjective), you have to want to perform and be very demanding on your juggling to practice with Russian balls. It is not for everyone.
Is the hull sufficiently resistant to possible impacts and/or for outdoor use,
THANKS
The shell of these balls is robust enough for indoor and outdoor use. Wear will be more rapid, of course, if you juggle on gravel or asphalt.
Are there other colors?
DBS bullets only come in white.
Is it possible to add weight to it?
This ball model comes with a non-adjustable weight of 65 grams. The ball is pressurized and sealed. You could pierce it and add weight, but you wouldn't be able to repressurize the ball, which would take away a lot of its comfort. This is the main advantage of this Russian ball model.
