Body for the long version of the Delphine club
Item sold individually.
Long Delphine body:
This club body (or bulb) will allow you to make your own Long Delphine type club assembly. It will also allow you to repair your clubs yourself, or to replace your current bulb. This body is the one assembled by default on the long Delphine clubs by Henrys.
NetJuggler's opinion:
The body is relatively simple to change. Unscrew the tip from the top of the club using a Phillips screwdriver, then the bulb slides out.
NetJuggler tips:
Change the body of a club:
- When you put the end cap back in place on the bulb, be sure to use the same original screw from the same manufacturer. This is very important because otherwise you risk damaging the wood. But that's also important because these are very strong screws that won't break when you drop your club on the screw.
- If you are repairing an old club, it is possible that when you are putting the end cap of the top of the club back, the screw turns without catching on the wood. It's a typical case of club wear. In this situation, we advise you to put a wooden match in the hole with a little wood glue, then put in your new screw. This little hack will give a fresh wind to your club.
Video to repair / modify a club:
I made this video that explains how to repair a club, change a handle, a body, etc. The video was filmed with a Pirouette but all the explanations are the same for the Delphine as well as for most Henrys clubs.
