Ball bearing for Circus diabolo:
Henrys presents a ball bearing set for the Circus diabolo (also compatible with the Vision diabolo). This is the " Free-Hub " tuning set.

This ball bearing was developed as a result of research and development carried out by Henrys on their line of premium yo-yo ball bearings. All the parts are assembled in a sealed manner so that no dust or foreign bodies can accelerate the wear of the bearings. The axis is in one piece. Maintenance free, it is easy to assemble and free from defects. The wide roller and all other parts are made of stainless steel.

Diabolo assembly tutorial:
It is sometimes a little difficult to adapt the new cups to the diabolo axis, simply because the assembly is done a little by force. There is, however, a technique that can simplify the task. We made a small illustrated document to better understand how it's done.

The set consists of:
- 1 freewheel.
- 1 axis.
- 1 turntable.
- 2 aluminum discs of 50mm.
- 2 brass discs of 20mm.
- 2 aluminum acorn nuts.
- A black and white colour code on each side of the axis, allows you to determine the direction of use of the diabolo.
Most of the time, this set is supplied in a box like the one in the photo below:

The Free-Hub is compatible with several diabolos.
The set fits on all Henrys Vision and Circus diabolos.
NetJuggler Info on ball bearing diabolos:
If you are not familiar with ball bearing diabolos, the principle is as it follows: once your diabolo picks up speed, it will hold it much longer than a normal axis diabolo. Here are some of the benefits:
- Up to 20 times longer spinning time than a normal diabolo.
- Possibility to do many tricks without having to re-accelerate your diabolo.
- Wide axis to facilitate many tricks.
- Minimal friction between the axis and the handsticks during grinds / slides.
- Limits friction when practicing vertax (vertical axis of the diabolo).
Children and beginners will love it because its axis will allow very long grinds, allowing to catch the diabolo on the handsticks or even on the fingers!
Triple bearing for experienced diabolists:The interest for an experienced diabolist will be to facilitate excalibur (or vertax) tricks, in which the diabolo will be used in a horizontal plane (with its axis vertical).
Triple bearing for teachers:Teachers will have plenty of time to explain tricks to beginners because the diabolo won't stop spinning! No need to be an expert to teach new tricks.

Some drawbacks or limitations on ball bearings : it becomes impossible to do all the elevator tricks. These bearing diabolos are not made to practice with several diabolos (except vertax), because they will spin too quickly on the string compared to diabolos equipped with normal axis. It may be necessary to change the bearing system once the bearing balls show wear, which of course never happens on a normal diabolo!
Hello, what is the diameter of the rod that we insert into the shells? To check that it will fit through the hole in my shells. Thank you.
Can this kit go with the Gora Fire Kit?
The Gora diabolo fire kit is compatible with this bearing kit. However, be careful, you will still need to assemble diabolo shells onto the assembly.
Hello, I've had a Beach Free diabolo for a month and the bearing has started making a lot of rubbing noise. I've taken it apart and oiled it, but it's the same. Does the warranty apply to this type of problem? Thank you.
Since the bearings are protected inside a waterproof shell, adding lubricant can have a negative effect on the diabolo. Contact our after-sales service by email or phone so we can take action. Our contact information can be found at the top of the site.
If it is compatible with the circus, is it also compatible with the ultra light?
Yes. Basically, it is compatible with the shells of all Circus diabolos and all Vision diabolo models.
Hello, I ordered the following cups for this ball bearing axle:

However, the black and white plastic pieces on each side of the bearing do not fit into my cups, even though the website says 'compatible'. Any solution? Thanks in advance ^^'
Assemble diabolo cups
The cups are forced into place. They don't just slide in! This is what makes Henrys diabolos so strong and robust. That said, they are put into place by hand. Ideally, you should start by fitting the part that fits against the shell, then lean against a table for more leverage. Contact us by phone for more information.
Okay, thank you very much.
Is it a triple bearing for the Free Hub Vision and Circus?
I'm not sure I understood your question correctly. I'll try to answer: This kit is a ball bearing kit that fits Circus diabolos and Vision diabolos.
If you want to buy a diabolo with ball bearings directly, the diabolos from the German manufacturer Henrys that are equipped with bearings all have names that end in FREE:
Beach FREE Jazz FREE Vision FREE Circus FREEHello, is this bearing compatible with the Cyclone triple bearing diabolo? Thank you for your reply.
Good morning, No, this bearing is only compatible with the Circus diabolo and the Vision diabolo, which are from the same manufacturer. This kit is adaptable to Henry's diabolos that have a fixed axle. The Circus and the Vision are large diabolos, while the Cyclone is a medium-sized diabolo and is not a Henry's product, so it is not adaptable. Sincerely, The Netjuggler Team
Thank you but I have a cyclone diabolo and it is loose because the screw thread is dead so how do I change the axle? Kind regards, thank you for your reply
If your diabolo is still under warranty, it will be replaced free of charge by NetJuggler. Contact us by phone. Outside of the warranty period, I also invite you to give us a call, and we'll see if we can give you some advice.
Does it sound like the diabolos that are already equipped with it, does it make noise when it turns?
The Circus ball bearings are precision ball bearings made in Germany with high-end quality and finish. You can hear it spinning more than with a normal axle, but it's quiet compared to all the other diabolos with ball bearings that exist at the time of writing this answer!
I have a Circus diabolo, without bearings. Can I put this bearing in its place?
Of course, it's possible to change the axle. You'll need two 10mm wrenches and a FREE Circus/Vision kit. You'll find this kit on our website.
can we find on this site
-a latest generation finesse diabolo compatible with
-a "beauty" kit
-a ball bearing kit
I would like to know if this axle is a triple ball bearing
There are no triple ball bearings. Only triple bearings. Diabolos equipped with triple bearings generally have a ball bearing on each side and a one-way cylinder bearing in the center. This axle is indeed equipped with triple bearings!
Why call it a ball bearing when it's actually a free axle? There are absolutely no balls in it.
Very good question... Maybe because there are ball bearings inside. There are 2 ball bearings + one bearing in the center.
Hello, I just got this product and I see that it makes a little noise (it doesn't bother me) but is there a way to make it disappear?
THANKS
No
I'm sorry
