Reception mattress

The landing mat is designed to provide optimal safety during sports and gymnastics activities. This mattress is made of two parts: a core for cushioning in open-cell polyurethane with a density of 20kg/m3, and a core for distributing and stabilizing closed-cell MARTHUS. The cover, with a phthalate-free leather-grain PVC coating of 650gr/m2, is M2 flame retardant and has a non-slip base, a pressure relief grid, and handles for easy transport.

Note regarding use with aerials

To date, there are no official standards or regulations regarding the use of landing mattresses for the practice of aerial disciplines.

The French Federation of Circus Schools (FFEC) does, however, make recommendations: it recommends the use of landing mattresses with a minimum dimension of 2 m x 2 m, with a thickness of 20 cm or 40 cm depending on the height at which the activity is carried out.

It is also worth noting that only one manufacturer in Italy currently offers a mattress certified for working heights below 4 meters.

It is important to remember that even when complying with the specifications recommended by the FFEC, the risk of serious or fatal accidents cannot be completely ruled out. Using a mattress does not guarantee absolute safety.
