Fall for fire whip
The fall is sold individually (without any other part of the whip), it is compatible with the Gora fire whips. In some of the photos I took, I left the whip visible in order to visualize how the fall fits onto the whip.
The fall, which can also sometimes be called "languette" in French, is the part which is positioned between the whip and the wick. This part only wears out quickly if you don't use your fire whip correctly. Normally, this part should have very little wear. So if you're constantly changing your fall, it's probably because you need to rethink your practice (unless you're doing it on purpose and the fall is a consumable for you).
Technical characteristics of the fall:
- Material: fire-resistant kevlar (do not soak).
- Fastening: loop sewn at each end.
- Length: 41cm.
Instructions for using your fire whip:
Do not soak the fall with the whip. This is the part described on this page, it is located just after the wick (the wick being the thinnest part at the very end of the whip, it is what snaps). By soaking this fall, you risk damaging the whip and soaking it will not increase the visual effect.
Do not place the whip on the ground while it is ignited. If you place it on cement, stone or metal, these surfaces will heat up and the flames will damage the Kevlar.
Do not tap or slide your moving whip against the ground, as with all Kevlar fire equipment, this will damage the Kevlar very quickly, especially if you hit it against concrete/bitumen, or gravel for example.
