Flammable Hat:

This hat is one of a kind. A fire hat that can be juggled.

The Kevlar rope is separated from the felt hat by a thick layer of silicone which serves as insulation against the heat given off by the flames.

How to use the fire hat?

• The wick should be soaked in de-aromatized petroleum gently using a syringe or pipette. Be sure to apply it only to the Kevlar (yellow part).

• Do not spill oil on the felt or the silicone.

• You can soak your wick up to an hour before your show because the de-aromatized oil does not evaporate.
• 5 minutes before lighting it, you need to apply water to the felt using a pipette. It should be put on the felt on the top and side of the hat.
• There should be no drips on the Kevlar, otherwise you might have some problems with ignition.
• Finally, 1 minute before going on stage , you must apply the zippo benzene. It helps to light the deflavored oil. Without it, you will not be able to light it properly because in fact, deflavored oil catches fire very slowly.
• Of course, not a drop of Zippo benzene on the hat or the silicone: only on the Kevlar wick.
  The dosage must be careful. Too little and the wick will not light, too much and you risk seriously damaging the silicone and the felt of the hat.
• The flame hat can be used between 50 and 100 times. With a good lighting technique it can be used even more. Its lifespan will depend on your attention to detail.
