Safety tips:

Use your fire equipment in open spaces.
To increase the lifespan of the wick, always extinguish them yourself and do not let them burn out.
Don't use just any fuel to ignite your fire gear, some are very dangerous. Opt instead for Kerdane or dearomatized petroleum (it's the same thing with two different names).

- Burns slowly and preserves wicks.
- It is also not very dangerous if you follow a few safety rules.

It is essential to follow these safety rules scrupulously:

Use Kerdane (it burns badly at low temperatures).
Don't skip the steps, learn to control your equipment without fire.
Always juggle near water.
Always juggle near someone who can help you if something goes wrong.
Don't juggle if the ground is too dry.
Do not juggle indoors (even if the floor is not carpeted ;o) ).
Drain your torches before lighting them as fire droplets may form.
Anticipate the reactions of your audience (and in particular always keep an eye on your equipment which will attract the youngest).
Do not neglect your safety or that of the public.
Tie your hair up.
Ban synthetic clothing and favor Kevlar protective clothing such as beanies, gloves or fingerless gloves.

Never forget that Kerdane is a harmful product (black cross on orange background), avoid contact with skin, eyes, mucous membranes. If despite everything, a contact takes place, rinse thoroughly with water.
