Why use a flexible PVC rod?

On our site, we offer wooden chopsticks for plates and we also offer this model in PVC. This model is slightly more flexible than wood, which will make the practice easier than with a wooden chopstick. This imposes less rigor in learning the discipline. Practitioners will be more quickly successful than with the use of a wooden chopstick.

Information for teachers:

If you have a group of students that you follow over several courses and you have time to delve a little deeper into the Chinese plate, then wooden chopsticks will offer more rigorous learning and will allow your students to better understand the technique by imposing a correct gesture. If on the contrary you have short sessions with the students with this obligation to have to show/teach them as much as possible in a limited time, then PVC chopsticks will help you to more quickly put your students in a situation of success. Some teachers swear by wooden chopsticks. They are right in a way, but we must add that it depends on the context in which you give your lessons. And then of course it is also a question of habit :-).

NetJuggler's opinion on PVC sticks:

The fact that this model is in two parts may scare you because you are used to the low-end sticks that we find at our friends who sell sports equipment for communities or toy stores. Here we have a quality stick with sturdy tips and a junction between the sticks that is done properly.

If you take several chopsticks, there is the possibility of connecting them together to make giant chopsticks, or there is the possibility of putting a pointed tip at each end of your chopsticks, to catch the plate on one side or the other of the chopstick.
