Large glowing diabolo:
The Hurricane diabolo is equipped with a triple bearing system by the English manufacturer "Juggle Dream".
NetJuggler information:
- Like its little brother the "Cyclone", the axis works like a one-way screwdriver except that there are three internal bearings to give it speed huge.
- Thanks to its speed and larger cups, the Hurricane is incredibly stable at high speeds and will spin much longer than standard (fixed axis) diabolos.
- This means that the users will have more time to prepare and perform their tricks. This will make it easier to perform tricks combos without having to constantly re-accelerate their diabolo.
- The wide axis also makes it easier to perform tricks on the fingers and the handsticks.
Characteristics of the Hurricane diabolo:
- Mass: 280g / equipped with the LED kit, the total mass is 320g.
- Diameter of the cups: 126mm.
- Height of the diabolo: 153 mm.
- Axis: triple ball bearings.
- Axis width: 24mm.
- A black and white colour code on each side of the axis allows you to determine the direction of use of the diabolo.
What kind of use ?
Highly recommended for all levels. For beginners, we recommend the medium-sized diabolos.

If you are a beginner, NetJuggler advises you to take a reel of string with your order. Indeed, beginners with dry and jerky movements can wear the strings very quickly, in a few hours, where the same string can last a few weeks for an experienced diabolist. This may save you from having to pay shipping fees again when your string is worn out.
Batteries for the LED set:
The set is sold complete with batteries, there are 3 "button batteries" in each set. When you need to change the batteries, you will need 6 AG13 batteries that you will find easily in shops.
Grab a very small cruciform screwdriver to open the set and then replace your batteries. Remember to recycle your batteries.
A few drawbacks or limitations on ball bearings : it becomes impossible to do all the elevator tricks. These bearing diabolos are not made to practice with several diabolos (except vertax), because they will spin too quickly on the string compared to diabolos equipped with normal axis. It may be necessary to change the bearing system once the bearing balls show wear, which of course never happens on a normal diabolo!
Care advice for the glowing diabolo:
We deliver the diabolo with its original bolts to you so that you can remove the LED set if you wish. You can unscrew it by hand.
A diabolo equipped with bearings will undergo very high rotational speeds and the equipment can wear if you use it intensively. If the LED set jiggles a bit, put a drop of threadlocker on the threaded rod of the axis to keep the LED set in place.

Vous avez 10/12h d'autonomie puis une dizaine d'heures de lumière à faible intensité. Cela sera variable en fonction de la qualité des piles que vous allez utiliser, mais ça devrait vous donner une petite idée.
Pourquoi le hurricanne n'est pas classé comme grand diabolo si il est plus grand que le cyclone ?
Il est bien classé comme étant un diabolo de grande taille :-)
J'ai 13 ans et je vais sans doute acheter un diabolo lumineux, je penchait vers le huricanne mais on m'a dit qu'il était plus grand que le cyclone quartz v2 et je ne suis pas super fan des grands diabolo ,est-il qualifié comme grand diabolo ou est-il juste un petit peut plus grand que le cyclone quartz v2 .J'ai un niveau débutant/intèmédiaire .Lequel choisir?Merci
Vous pouvez choisir celui que vous voulez. Le fait que vous n'aimiez pas les diabolos plus grands est certainement lié au fait que vous avez pris l'habitude d'utiliser des diabolos de taille moyenne. Le temps de vous habituer à un diabolo plus grand et vous verrez qu'on peut faire beaucoup plus de choses plus facilement. Un diabolo plus grand comme le Hurricane qu'on a catégorisé dans les diabolos de grande taille est mieux équilibré, plus stable et il bénéficie d'une meilleure inertie. A vous de voir :-).

Le fait que le diabolo soit plus grand fait qu'il va tourner plus longtemps. Une fois qu'il aura pris de la vitesse il sera donc plus facile d'enchainer des figures. Sa taille plus grande facilitera aussi son utilisation en Vertax où le diabolo est utilisé à la verticale car il y aura moins de frottements sur la ficelle et le diabolo sera moins ralenti qu'un diabolo moins grand.
