Washer for fire diabolo - Gora

Washer sold individually. It is compatible with the 2 diabolo fire sets from the manufacturer Gora.

The washer is made of silicone and allows you to isolate the flames of your fire set from your diabolo cups. It is sold individually as a spare part because it happens that you burn this washer during improper use of your fire set. You absolutely must not let the fuel touch this silicone part, otherwise it overheats and it can burn.

The washer is the black part that can be seen in the photo below (the other parts visible in this photo are not included).

The installation of the washer is simple, it clips in force onto the metal part.

I give you here the information on the use of the Gora fire sets ... These are the same instructions that I give on the page of the fire sets. The manufacturer's after-sales service is almost non-existent on its fire sets. In principle, only the silicone part can be damaged. This is delicate equipment that requires applying these instructions. If these instructions are not followed, it is possible to damage the silicone washer, or worse your diabolo.

• Use the syringe provided (with the fire set, not with the silicone part which is sold here alone) to soak the Kevlar.
• If you spill fuel on the silicone washer, wipe it off well before igniting.
• Use a fuel that burns at low temperatures such as Kerdane (dearomatized petroleum). The more expensive versions are generally more refined and will be more suitable for use with this fire set.
• - Do not use White Spirit or any other alcohol-based fuel!
• Before lighting, wring out the wicks so that there is no excess fuel. Otherwise, you will have flames that are too big at the start of the ignition, which could affect the lifespan of your diabolo.
• While practicing, always keep the diabolo moving. Stopping will cause the temperature to rise too high, which could damage your diabolo and the silicone protectors.
