Responsive yo-yo sold individually equipped with a string, ready to be used.

Yo-yo with bright colours and an interesting design:

This yo-yo is equipped with the "axys" bearing system, a high speed bearing made by Henrys. Although very accessible in price, you can change the axis for any other model of the range which makes this yo-yo scalable.

Netjuggler's opinion on this yo-yo for beginners:

The German manufacturer Henrys is used to giving us robust and well finished equipment. The Lizard yo-yo is therefore a model that we advise for beginners and children who tend to mistreat their equipment. Rubber contours add important comfort when the yo-yo is in the hand and when it sometimes comes back violently in it. It is also used to protect the structure of the yo-yo when it is deliberately or unintentionally thrown to the ground ! However, it has some limitations because it is responsive. Along with the Blaze yo-yo by the Infinity brand, this what we consider to be two of the best yo-yos for beginners.

NetJuggler advises you to order several spare strings for this yo-yo or for any other for that matter. The string wears out because there are many frictions when using the yo-yo.

Characteristics of the Lizard yo-yo:

  • Responsive yo-yo.
  • Diameter: 62 mm.
  • Mass: 48 g.
  • Colour: Blue, Green, Red, Yellow or Orange.

What kind of use ?

High-end yo-yo with an attractive price, ideal for beginners.

Promotional offer on Henrys yo-yos:

As a free option, we recommend taking the small booklet from the manufacturer Henrys (to check in the options on this page). The booklet is well illustrated and will allow a beginner to learn the basic tricks.

Then, the internet is full of videos to learn all the tricks and a small browse on the forums of the French Federation of Yo-yo (France Yoyo Association) will complete your knowledge before moving towards a more efficient yo-yo. Let it be known that, once the basics are covered, the more interesting yo-yos are the metallic irresponsive ones, we recommend at this point to opt for the yo-yos of the Infinity brand that are more scalable.

This booklet is gifted with the purchase of this Henrys yo-yo. To beneficiate from the offer, add the booklet to your order by checking it among the options. The booklet will not be delivered with your yo-yo if you didn't check it among the options.

Offer proposed within the available stock limit.

Manufacturer's informations:

    Question

Hello, I would like to give a yo-yo to my boyfriend who is a beginner and I was wondering if this one would be suitable and also if you sell it in your premises in Oradour sur Glane because I cannot order on the site, thank you for your response.

    11/01/2015
    • Answer
      Re: Question

This yoyo is suitable for beginners because it is easy to use and its open shape makes it easy to catch the yoyo on the string. There are also its O-rings, rubber rings that make it comfortable to hold. If it is for a child, it is an ideal choice because in addition it is German-made material and therefore very robust to withstand the many shocks of beginners.

On the other hand, if you are buying for an adult who intends to progress and develop their level, then I would tend to recommend the Blaze yoyo which comes with 2 ball bearings. The first allows for use equivalent to the Lizard yoyo and a second bearing which will make it irresponsive, allowing you to go much further in terms of tricks.

What did you think of the Active People Triple Action Yo-Yos?

    07/12/2014
    • Answer
      Re: MIMI

Triple action yoyos are fun and very entertaining. They are aesthetically pleasing. However, they are less maneuverable than the Lizard yoyo and less robust. For a lower price, I prefer the Lizard yoyo.

Hello, I am and I bought the cobra yoyo but I am disappointed I cannot do tricks it does not spin long enough so does the lizard spin long and is it responsive

    thank you in advance

    30/07/2014
    • Answer
      Re: question

The Cobra spins for a while. Not less than the Lizard. If you're looking for a yo-yo that spins much longer, check out the Infinity line of yoyos. But be careful, these yoyos are intended for experienced users :-)

    Beginner

Hello, I really would like to start 1A,

Is this a good yoyo to discover the 1a for 1 or 2 months before ordering a better quality one?

How long should I change the string after if I use it for about an hour a day?

    01/06/2014
    • Answer
      Re: Beginner

The Lizard yoyo doesn't really allow you to do 1A. It only allows you to taste 1A, and even then it's difficult to adjust the yoyo to get decent results in 1A.

I invite you to discover the Blaze yoyo which will be more suitable for doing 1A as a beginner.

The string needs to be changed quite often, but it depends entirely on your skill level and how you do it. A polyester string will last longer than a cotton string.

Can you do tricks like the bind with this yo-yo?

    07/01/2014
    • Answer
      Re: question/answer

You can bind any yo-yo. Only the bind is a trick used to bring the yo-yo back up when the yo-yo is an irresponsive model. However, the Lizard yo-yo is responsive.

      Re: lizard

The Lizard allows you to try 1A... But only try it because it is responsive.... To practice 1A, it is better to opt for the Blaze yoyo or even a metal yoyo from the Infinity range which will excel in this discipline....

    Duncan butterfly

I just bought a Duncan Butterfly Classic yo-yo but I can't do the sleeper. How can I do it? Help me please.

    05/07/2013
    • Answer
      Re: duncan butterfly

Your question is not quite in the right place :-) Making a yo-yo "sleeper" takes a little practice. You'll need to send your yo-yo toward the ground with significant energy by rolling your wrist downward.

    SOS

Since I changed the string on my Lizard yo-yo it no longer stays down (I changed it the right way) how can I make it stay down?? Thank you

    17/05/2013
    • Answer
      Re: SOS

There's a technique for changing the string! The string is doubled, so you simply have to "untwist" it and pass the yo-yo through the string. Above all, don't tie a knot!

    questions of all kinds

Is this yoyo responsive? Do I need to buy a string with it or is it delivered at the same time? I am 11 years old. Will it suit me?

    22/05/2012
    • Answer
      Re: questions of all kinds

This yoyo comes with a string. However, I recommend buying some at the same time as the yoyo, because the string wears out, especially since you might spend a lot of time on it if you like it! The yoyo is more or less responsive depending on how you adjust it. It is adjusted by screwing or unscrewing the shells.

    Which one to choose?

I don't know what to choose between the viper, the lizard and the cobra.

    29/04/2012
    • Answer
      Re: Which one to choose

These are 3 Butterfly-shaped yo-yos, meaning they are wide open for performing tricks on the string. All 3 are good yoyos for beginners. The more expensive Viper model obviously has a better finish.

      Re: ?

You only need to ask your question once (if it's the same question lol). For the 1A the Hayabusa is one of the best models you'll find at this price. And as a bonus it will allow you to do 4A since it was originally designed for that!

      Re: 2A

How does a yo-yo like this Henrys Lizard work?

The Butterfly is a good toy! It allows you to play 1A, but in a limited way. If you want to try a bit of all styles of play, I can only recommend the Duncan Hayabusa.

      Re:

The Lizard yoyo is perfect for beginners. It stays down when you throw it! It all depends on your age, if you are between 6 and 10 years old, I recommend you opt for the Duncan Reflex yoyo, it is equipped with a clutch which means that it goes back up on its own once it loses speed. It is about the same price as the Lizard. Otherwise, if you are 10 years old and up, the Lizard holds up well... If you really want to be serious, we tend to suggest the Duncan yoyo: Flying Panda which allows you to try almost all styles of games...

Yes, this yoyo is detachable... If you want to practice more advanced tricks, I recommend you opt for a completely detachable model for practicing 1A. For this, you have the Infinity range of yoyos which are offered at good prices and which are truly the most progressive that we have to offer.
