This frisbee is designed for juniors but that doesn't mean the quality isn't up to par! Discraft has created another quality disc, for the youngest of us!

A disc designed for the Ultimate junior league:

The J*Star Disc (pronounced JAY STAR) was designed for young Ultimate fans. It weighs 145g instead of the usual 175 and measures 24cm instead of the 27 found in discs approved for adult competitions.

Just because this frisbee is for the youngest doesn't mean the quality has been compromised! Discraft, the frisbee expert always impresses with the quality of its frisbees.

The J*Star is a copy of its big brother the UltraStar and it benefits from the same solidity and quality of finishing. Only its weight and its diameter differ, the performances offered remain the same. With a weight of 145g, it is easy to handle for young players and is also suitable for solo or multiplayer freestyle games.

A frisbee that handles all situations:

The J*Star is tough! If it gets run over by an automobile, you're still going to be able to throw it, and it'll fly exactly the same way (if you're still allowed to throw it, of course).

If you want to play when the wind picks up, know that the disc offers great performance even when the wind is strong enough!

A few non-competitive game ideas to do with a frisbee:

The frisbee isn't just for playing Ultimate, you can also use it to play quietly, without pressure nor competition. Here are some examples :

  • Precision throwing games.
  • Passing games with friends.
  • Freestyle solo or with others.
  • Throw at targets like basketball hoops or cones.

A frisbee for everyone!

Some disc regulars have swapped their disc for the J*Star. Indeed, this softer disc does not hurt the hands and allows an adult and a child to play together without risk of injury. Even the animals don't hurt themselves as they catch it with their teeth!
