Axis with triple ball bearings for the Jazz diabolo:
Henrys presents a ball bearing set for the Jazz diabolo. This is the " Free-Hub Jazz " tuning set.
This ball bearing was developed as a result of research and development carried out by Henrys on their line of premium ball bearings yo-yo. All the parts are assembled in a sealed manner, so that no dust or foreign bodies can accelerate the wear of the bearings. The axis is in one piece. It is easy to assemble, free from defects and requires no maintenance. The wide roller and all other parts are made of stainless steel.
The set fits only on the Jazz diabolo (light or aluminum).
Diabolo assembly tutorial:
It is sometimes a little difficult to adapt the new cups to the diabolo axis, simply because the assembly is done a little by force. There is, however, a technique that can simplify the task. We made a small illustrated document to better understand how it's done.

NetJuggler information on bearing diabolos:
If you are not familiar with ball bearing diabolos, the principle is as it follows: once your diabolo has picked up speed, it will keep it much longer than a diabolo with a normal axis. Here are some of the benefits:
- Spinning time up to 20 times longer than that of a normal diabolo.
- Possibility to do many tricks, without having to re-accelerate your diabolo.
- Wide axis to facilitate many tricks.
- Minimal friction between the axis and the sticks during grinds / slides.
- Limits friction when practicing vertax (vertical axis of the diabolo)
Children and beginners will love it because its axis will allow very long grinds, allowing to catch the diabolo on the handsticks or even the fingers!
Triple bearing for experienced diabolists:The interest for an experienced diabolist will be to facilitate excalibur (or vertax) tricks, in which the diabolo will be used in a horizontal plane (with its axis vertical).
Triple bearing for teachers:Teachers will have plenty of time to explain tricks to beginners because the diabolo does not stop spinning! No need to be an expert to teach new tricks.

Some drawbacks or limitations of ball bearings: it becomes impossible to do all the elevator tricks. These bearing diabolos are not made to practice with several diabolos at the same time (except vertax), because they will spin too quickly on the string compared to diabolos equipped with normal axis. It may be necessary to change the bearing system once the bearing balls show wear, which of course never happens on a normal diabolo!
