This sword is designed around a fiberglass structure. It benefits from a quality finish. The bit used is thick tubular Kevlar which matches the round shape of the “blade”.

Comfort is ensured by a soft handle which also serves as a grip for a good grip.

Sword made by Gora, specialist in fire equipment. This device is a favorite in the world of pyrotechnics shows, medieval and equestrian shows. The manufacturer advises not to hold the sword in a vertical position for too long so as not to damage or dirty the handle. Be careful, this model of sword is fragile and can bend easily. If you want a more robust model I advise you to opt instead for the flying sword from the same manufacturer (Gora). I prefer to warn you here that Gora does not cover crooked swords in the product warranty, because it considers this to be misuse of the product.

When you soak your wicks, soak them 3/4 full, this will give the Kevlar time to absorb all the fuel and prevent it from leaking and dripping onto the silicone. It is important to know that the silicone which makes up the thermal insulation between the hilt and the flame of the sword resists heat but not fire. Also, be careful not to let any fuel drip onto the silicone.

• Never use fuel such as White Spirit, Benzene or other alcohol-based fuel.
• Do not hold the sword in a vertical position with the flame downwards, keep it always moving, or in a horizontal position.
• Handle the grip gently to ensure a good lifespan.
• Do not dip silicone parts or handle in fuel.
