Circus set for children from 3 years old:

This set was designed to equip a Circus activity with 10 kindergarten children.

This set is made up from advice that we receive from our partner: La Compagnie Circadiem. This company gives circus lessons with its educational workers in the local schools where we are based.

Why this choice of equipment?

Teaching circus arts in kindergarten does not require being a good circus technician but rather having knowledge of children's pedagogy. Use the circus equipment to organize exercises and games that will stimulate children's motor skills.

Juggling balls:

The equipment contained in the set includes 10 initiation fabric balls. In kindergarten, we do not really practice juggling but rather do fun exercises to stimulate motor skills. Thus, these balls will be used in throwing games. They can be easily balanced on different parts of the body such as the head, for example. We can thus imagine balance games with a course to achieve with the ball balanced on the head.

The real juggling balls contained in this set are very round and roll on the ground, unlike initiation balls. There are a lot of possible interactions between children while rolling these balls on the floor. On the other hand, they will be more difficult to catch, and during throwing exercises, some students will prefer initiation balls, others will turn more naturally to these balls.

Juggling scarves:

The scarves allow you to do a lot of varied exercise. Their fall is very slow, which gives time to work on the rhythms. The margin of error compared to a ball is enormous and the scarf will allow the whole group to manage to progress. There is a tactile and visual side that children are all drawn to.

Rings:

The rings are used in simple exercises where they will be rolled on the floor or rotated around the arms. But you can also use them for throwing exercises.

Spinning plates:

This is an element that is impossible to miss in a circus set for children. They will spend hours spinning their plates at the end of a stick.

The balls, rings and plates are made in Italy. All the equipment that makes up this set has been used by our partners and customers for many years: it is robust and suitable for intensive use. Optional circus equipment:

PedalGos are wheeled acrobatics that kids love and they are great tools for working on children's motor skills. For a group of 10 students, we recommend that you order two.

Clubs are too complex to use with children in kindergarten. But this equipment becomes interesting as soon as it is rolled on the ground for individual exercises, but also for passing exercises in groups of 2 or more. We recommand their use from 4 years old.

Devil sticks or more precisely in this case: flower sticks, are light and have a good grip system. A multitude of exercises can be performed: rolling on the body, straight throws, games on the ground etc. Their use is recommended from the age of 5.

If giving circus lessons is your specialty, some of the items in this set may not be suitable for you. This set is, in our opinion, well thought about and interesting for teachers who are not necessarily specialized in the circus arts.
