Reception mattress

This landing mattress is designed to provide maximum safety during various sports and circus activities. Made of polyurethane foam with a density of 20 kg/m3, it is covered with a phthalate-free 650g/m2 leather-grain PVC coating, M2 fire retardant. The non-slip base ensures increased stability, while the pressure relief grid, carrying handles and reinforced corners add to its functionality and durability. Its dimensions are +/- 2000 x 1200 x 100 mm.

Note regarding use with aerials

To date, there are no official standards or regulations regarding the use of landing mattresses for the practice of aerial disciplines.

The French Federation of Circus Schools (FFEC) does, however, make recommendations: it recommends the use of landing mattresses with a minimum dimension of 2 m x 2 m, with a thickness of 20 cm or 40 cm depending on the height at which the activity is carried out.

It is also worth noting that only one manufacturer in Italy currently offers a mattress certified for working heights below 4 meters.

It is important to remember that even when complying with the specifications recommended by the FFEC, the risk of serious or fatal accidents cannot be completely ruled out. Using a mattress does not guarantee absolute safety.
