Product Description

This landing mat is designed to provide optimal safety during gymnastics and landing activities. It is made of 23 kg/m³ polyester foam, wrapped in a high-quality vinyl tarpaulin cover. The cover, coated on polyester with a weight of 650 g/m², is available in various colors and is equipped with a yellow pressure relief grid around the perimeter. For easy transport, the mat has sturdy handles and a zipper. The non-slip base guarantees perfect stability on various surfaces. All our landing mats comply with NF 12503.1 type 8 standards, ensuring maximum quality and safety.

Note regarding use with aerials

To date, there are no official standards or regulations regarding the use of landing mats for the practice of aerial disciplines.

The French Federation of Circus Schools (FFEC) does, however, make recommendations: it recommends the use of landing mattresses with a minimum dimension of 2 m x 2 m, with a thickness of 20 cm or 40 cm depending on the height at which the activity is carried out.

It is also worth noting that only one manufacturer in Italy currently offers a mattress certified for working heights below 4 meters.

It is important to remember that even when complying with the specifications recommended by the FFEC, the risk of serious or fatal accidents cannot be completely ruled out. Using a mattress does not guarantee absolute safety.
