Reception mattress

This reception mattress is made of polyester foam with a density of 23 kg/m ³ and a colored vinyl tarpaulin cover . The 650 g polyester-coated cover has a yellow-circled pressure relief grid , carrying handles , a zipper and a non-slip base . All our reception mattresses comply with NF 12503.1 type 8 standards .

Note regarding use with aerials

To date, there are no official standards or regulations regarding the use of landing mattresses for the practice of aerial disciplines.

The French Federation of Circus Schools (FFEC) does, however, make recommendations: it recommends the use of landing mattresses with a minimum dimension of 2 m x 2 m, with a thickness of 20 cm or 40 cm depending on the height at which the activity is carried out.

It is also worth noting that only one manufacturer in Italy currently offers a mattress certified for working heights below 4 meters.

It is important to remember that even when complying with the specifications recommended by the FFEC, the risk of serious or fatal accidents cannot be completely ruled out. Using a mattress does not guarantee absolute safety.
