FA7 ball - NetJuggler

This item being sold individually, consider ordering several if you want to learn how to juggle. If you're a beginner, a set of three balls is ideal.

Why "FA7" ?
What an unusual name for a juggling ball ! You'll understand why we named this ball like this if you know your way around the French language.
In French, a "disco ball" is translated by "une boule à facettes". As we don't have time to spell "facettes" because we're about to go juggling, we decided to write it down as "FA7". It sounds just the same :-)
NetJuggler, your juggling shop AND you French teacher !
"Fa7" Multisided balls for training and to juggle with a lot of balls:
These juggling balls have been specifically designed for jugglers looking for a comfortable ball that rolls well. The more faces a ball has, the rounder it is and the more it rolls. The 12-sided version has a better roundness than a cubic ball, while having a good grip. The 32-sided version is rounder and therefore allows to integrate contact juggling and tricks where the ball must be able to roll on the body.

The 32-sided version can be caught up less miraculously to save a crooked throw by pinching it between two fingers. On the other hand, the many seams create a non smooth surface on the ball which gives it a good grip and prevents it from slipping.

The filling is dense but not too hard for the ball to be soft in the hand. Over time, it will soften a bit since its filling is made of millet (small seed). The fabric is a very grippy artificial suede and the fact that the balls crash a little allows a good grip to hold several balls in the hand. The ball is versatile.

Allows you to carry about 8 balls like these. The bag will be automatically added to your order when being prepared if you order at least 5 of these balls. :-)
Netjuggler's opinion on the "FA7" balls:
This ball model is soft and very tactile. The fabric has been carefully selected. You could think that the large number of seams would increase the risk of the ball breaking, this is the reason why we had not ventured on the design of this type of ball before. But by dint of perseverance, this is certainly the strong point of this model: the quality of the seams. We ourselves are impressed by their solidity. These balls are designed with experienced jugglers in mind, but they are also popular for juggling and motor skill exercices among beginners, there are many possible uses. You may already be used to the quality of our after-sales service, but we point out again, if you encounter a problem with this model of ball, it is not normal, come back to us.

Characteristics of the "FA7" balls:
- Weight: 120g.
- Diameter: about 66mm (+/- 2mm depending on how you measure it and the manufacturing is artisanal).

- Type of juggling: Multiplex and with a lot of balls at the same time.

We say exterior, but avoid that this ball comes in contact with water or mud, they will not appreciate it at all.
What kind of use ?
This ball is ideal for a versatile juggling. It also responds to a demand from teachers and pedagogues who work with teenagers/adults for whom the quality of the balls as well as the touching aspect of the ball has an important role in setting up their pedagogy.
I find this model super pleasant to handle. Do you plan to develop this range a bit in the future, new colors, and especially do you think you will make a similar model but of a different size/weight (120 g is a bit heavy to really work on the number without getting tendonitis)?
We do have plans! They've been a bit disrupted by the covid period, so you'll need a little patience! But especially patience for us! I can't say too much at the moment, but it's one of the best softballs we've designed and the potential for variations is significant. I have a weakness for softballs that weigh 110 grams, so I'm thinking of offering a 110g version and lots of colors. But unfortunately it's not for right away :-).
Thank you for your reply, I would also like to highlight a point that could be improved.
I received my last order of 14 balls recently, there was no mistake, it was delivered on time and in good condition, your advice is relevant, your after-sales service is exceptional, in short, great but there is one small point that could be improved: each of the balls was wrapped in individual packaging which seems unnecessarily polluting to me. I suppose that it is not just your responsibility but perhaps you could put pressure on the manufacturer to find an alternative.
Nowadays, ecological issues are close to the hearts of many people and I think that the juggling community is not left out; an effort on this point would be greatly appreciated.
I completely agree with you. This is a discussion we often have internally with my colleagues and with our clients, friends, and family. We're making a lot of changes in this area, and we're paying attention to packaging. 80% of our packaging and packaging materials come from the trash bins of local businesses. Much of our plastic packaging also ends up in trash bins or on incoming supplies. The businesses around us throw away astronomical amounts of packaging that is still in usable condition. I think that for 80% of what we sell, we don't need to buy cardboard and very, very little need for plastic cushioning. There are some references like the Fa7 balls that have individual packaging because it is a ball that easily catches the few dusts that are lying around and each box of these balls is checked by customs when coming here to us. The customs procedure is to rip open 2 or 3 balls per box with a cutter and not close the boxes properly... Results if we do not individually pack the balls, they can take on water if it rains when the boxes are circulating and customs pour the millet into the boxes in a complete rush... As a result I have these balls packed individually. It may be wrong of me, and if you have a better idea I am interested. I am experimenting with packaging of 12 or more on other orders, but I am really bothered by the behavior of the customs officers. If you have any arguments or ideas, please do not hesitate to call, this is really a subject on which I have no expertise, just an awareness and a desire to do better wherever possible. Our business is primarily an online sales activity with worldwide deliveries. We sell a lot of products that contain or are made of plastic. We're contributing in our own way to heading straight for the wall! I just hope that all artists, jugglers, and amateurs make good use of all this equipment!
