   vs Uglies 90g

   I'm looking for a 5-ball kit to get started with 5-ball. I can juggle 3 balls without any problems. How do these balls compare to the very attractive uglies? (Unfortunately, the blue 5b kit seems to be out of stock)...

     These balls are heavier than Uglies. They weigh 110g compared to 90g for Uglies. They are not underfilled like Uglies balls. They will be less chaotic since they are less filled, but on the other hand, a little more rigor on the juggling. They are a little hard when new, it takes a little time for the millet inside to soften a little.

   Competitors to velvet?

   While the softness of the texture is present, is the strength of these balls intended to compete with the almost indestructible velvet balls, whose wear increases the juggling quality?

     The fabric is very sturdy, as are the seams. These were our first criteria for the design of this ball model. However, this type of fabric is a bit dirty, which is why I recommend this ball for indoor use. Don't expect these balls to stay perfectly white over time.

     Over time the fabric will soften a little. And then like all balls that have a millet filling, juggling with the millet will settle a little and the ball will become a little softer which improves the comfort of the ball by making it softer and more flexible.

     If you are looking for a firm ball, this model will meet your expectations only for the first few months of use. Perhaps if you want to move towards a firm ball, other models would be more suitable, I have in mind for example the leather or velvet balls from the German manufacturer Henrys.
