Pirouette handle

Item sold individually (pre-assembled on a wooden dowel).

Pirouette handle:

This handle will allow you to manufacture your own Pirouette type club assembly. It will also allow you to repair your clubs yourself, to replace your current grip. This grip is the one assembled by default on the following Henrys clubs: Pirouette or Pirouette grip.

NetJuggler's opinion:

Since this part is already pre-assembled, it will be relatively easy to change. Unscrew the bottom end then the top end of the club using a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the tape in the center of the club, then replace your grip and the dowel. Be careful, you will need adhesive tape to redo the central junction of your club. Do not use just any tape, you will need quality tape that will not "ooze" in the sun.

We give you our take on the handles: the silver handles last less than the coloured handles which have a better lifespan.

For your information, Henrys does not provide the handle without the central dowel. In fact, the handle assembly on the dowel is complex and requires the use of a compressed air stapler. With this set, no machinery is needed on your side except a screwdriver.

NetJuggler tips for modifying your Pirouette:

Change the grip of a club:

• When you put the tips back in place on your club, remember to use the same original screw from the same manufacturer. This is very important because otherwise you risk damaging the wood. But it's also important because they are very strong screws that won't break when you drop your club on the screw.
• If you are repairing an old club, it is possible that by replacing the top end (or the bottom one), the screw turns without catching on the wood. This is a typical case of club wear. In this situation, we advise you to put a wooden match in the hole with a little wood glue, then put your new screw. Voila, and what you think is a simple hack will breathe new life into your club.
