This item being sold individually, be sure to order several if you want to learn how to juggle. If you're a beginner, a set of three ball is the best.
SILX ball:
At first glance, the SIL-X is a stage ball and that is quite true except that its characteristics are very special. The plastic used to manufacture the ball is flexible and 1/3 of the volume of the ball is filled with liquid silicone. This places the ball's barycentre at the bottom of it, allowing you to obtain very stable and precise ball paths on high launches. This also makes it easier to juggle at the feet as well as contact and tricks at the head level. The principle is similar to that of Russian balls.

The silicone is injected via an almost imperceptible valve that allows to keep the visual aspect of a stage ball.
Note that the silicone used is absolutely harmless and non-toxic as it is a silicone used as lubricant in food (YUK!) !

Allows you to carry up to 7 balls like these. The bag will be automatically added to your order when being prepared if you order at least 5 of these balls. :-)
NetJuggler's opinion:
Unlike all types of grains, the liquid silicone slips perfectly inside the ball so that even when the ball is sent by giving it a rotation, it does not go spinning out of control.

Technical characteristics:
- Diameter: 67mm.
- Weight: 110g.
- Colour: red, orange, white, green, blue, yellow and pink.
What kind of use ?
The SILX67 ball is excellent for experienced jugglers and to juggle with 5 balls and more. If you're beginners, netjuggler advises you to opt for the Varana 441 ball.
Maintenance, cleaning and storage of the balls:
Every ball with a PVC coating can get stained if you leave them in your bag in contact with other stuff. They particulary don't like being in contact with ink (journal, magazine etc). If you want your balls to stay clean, isolate them in a clean bag that will be dedicated to them. To clean them: soapy warm water with a sponge (avoid the green side that could make micro scratches on your balls). It is usually very difficult or even impossible to clean ink stains. If you are a maniac of cleanliness or simply demanding with your stage material, remember to store your balls proprely when you're not using them..

Hello, I have been using Varana 441 balls for 3 years now. I can easily juggle up to 4 balls and I am practicing with 5 and 6 balls, and maybe more in the future. Although my balls are still in very good condition (I recommend them for beginners), I am still wondering if I should switch to another type of ball, why not Silix? Can you advise me and/or guide me towards a good choice?
Are my varanas still suitable for my use? (5 balls and more)
?
The balls you have are perfectly suited for 5, 6, and 7 balls... The Silx may provide you with additional comfort. The fact that they are lighter will surely allow you to gain endurance. So for 5 balls and more, it is possible that they will be beneficial to you. But the reality is that there is a technical part and a part that is entirely linked to the tastes and desires of each person...
I bought these balls a month ago. I used to juggle soft balls (Uglies) and wanted a change.
No regrets, they are great. I have been practicing my 7-ball for quite some time and I find that my throws are more accurate with these balls (it may be totally subjective but in any case, I find them very pleasant). My 7-ball is not very solid, so I preferred not to opt for a larger ball size.
I juggle on asphalt, on a slightly sloping ground and these balls roll very little, which is practical. On the other hand, in these conditions, they mark a little but it is not very annoying from my point of view.
Good morning,
I currently juggle 3 balls but would like to start learning 4 and then 5.
Would these balls be suitable for this practice knowing that I juggle outside? (Are they durable enough?)
I'm also hesitating with the varana and I'm also wondering which diameter to choose.
Varana 441 or Silx 67mm for 4/5 balls
The Varana 441 balls are a little smaller than the Sil-x 67mm with a diameter of 65mm. If you want to learn 4 and 5 ball, with a millet filling, the Varana 441 will be a little more stable than the Silx because they are a little heavier.
PVC balls are sturdy
Whether you choose the Varana 441 or the Silx, they are both excellent balls for learning 4-ball and 5-ball. And they are both robust enough for intensive use indoors and outdoors. Of all the balls we offer on our site, those with a PVC coating will give you satisfaction over their lifespan. If you encounter the slightest problem with this type of ball, come back to us because it is not normal :-).In responding to other visitors' comments below, I have provided a lot of information that you are welcome to consult. This will complete this message, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us; it is sometimes more pleasant than exchanging messages :-)
Good morning,
I practice three-ball juggling but I haven't tried to go further yet. I would like to learn three-ball tricks, try a little contact and maybe incorporate a fourth and fifth ball. Which model would you recommend?
Choice of balls to learn 4/5 balls
To perfect a three-ball with tricks and then work on 4- and 5-balls, you should instead choose balls with a diameter that isn't too large. This will help avoid collisions. The Sil-x balls on this page are ideal. You can also consider the Varana 441 balls with a millet filling. They are a little heavier than the Sil-x balls and will therefore be a little more stable.Integrating contact into a 3-ball juggle
If you want to incorporate contact into three-ball juggling, it would be a good idea to move towards larger balls that will be easier to roll over the arms and body. However, be careful, larger balls will be less suitable for learning to juggle with 4 or 5 balls. Ideally, you should have a set of three rather large balls for 3-ball juggling and a set of smaller balls for learning 4 and 5-ball juggling. Regarding the larger balls, I recommend the 78mm Silx balls, ideal for integrating contact into a 3-ball game.Ball for learning contact
To learn contact, it's best to start with a single ball. At this point, a 100mm diameter ball or a 90mm diameter stage ball (if you have very small hands) will make learning the basic movements easier.Hello, I have been juggling for 5/6 months and I would like to change my soft balls but which balls should I choose for three-ball and four-ball tricks (I mainly do 3-ball freestyle like Mil's Mess)
Thank you for your reply
A small diameter for juggling 5 balls or more
The Silx are very good balls for doing what you describe. The 67mm diameter makes them ideal for juggling 4 balls and more while still having good performance for 3 balls.
Juggling balls for 3 balls
If it's only for 3 balls then a slightly larger diameter could be interesting, particularly to facilitate the integration of contact and to have something more visual.
If you have a lot of questions or if you want me to show you a little bit about all the balls that are made, don't hesitate to give me a call, you have our phone number at the top and bottom of the site and I would be happy to explain to you what is made, which will undoubtedly allow you to get a better idea of what you need. But from what you tell me, the 67mm silx seem to me to be an excellent choice.
Thank you very much for your precise answer, I might call you because I actually have quite a few questions :) for example what is the difference between the sil x ball and the stage ball :) there you go, see you soon
The Sil-X ball is a soft ball unlike the stage ball which has a harder shell. The Sil-x ball has 1/3 of its volume which is filled with liquid silicone in order to lower its center of gravity. This is what makes it catch well when thrown high. This is also what makes it pleasant to use for making contact because the weight of the ball is always concentrated on the bottom of it. The Sil-x ball will therefore roll less when it falls to the ground.
Hello, I wanted to know which balls to choose between the record balls; the sil x light balls or the mmx 67mm (which you unfortunately do not sell) to juggle with 5 balls (those which have the most pleasant touch and those which allow the best catches when snatching)
Furthermore, I would like to know if the uglies are good for learning 7-ball.
Thank you in advance for your answers!
Ewan
PS: I'm 14 years old, and I'm quite tall (if that's important for the weight of the balls)
For 5 balls, the silx 67 will be excellent.
But to learn 5-ball, heavier balls will be more stable and easier to throw with clean trajectories.
So, the Varana 441 balls or the Record balls will be more suitable. Soft balls like the Record have a more comfortable shape in the hands and are soft to the touch, which makes them pleasant to juggle. The Varana 441 juggling balls have the advantage of being more robust and their 65mm diameter makes them not too large, which means you will be less bothered by the size of the ball, which can be important for learning.
I'm just starting to juggle with 5 balls and I don't know which ones to choose. I'm 11 years old so I don't know what size to get.
Can you please advise me, thank you.
Which balls to use to learn 5-ball?
Silx balls are an excellent choice. I would recommend the Silx light balls in 70mm diameter . They are a little lighter but above all their shells are a little softer which makes them softer to the touch. But it is a question of taste between the normal Silx and the Silx Light... Whatever your choice between these two models of ball you are not really making a mistake. Otherwise a ball that would be easier to learn the 5 ball is the Uglies ball. It is a soft fabric ball very pleasant to juggle and robust.
Hello, I'm hesitating between soft balls and sil-x balls.
Are the sil-x balls soft balls (like Soft) or rather balls with a hard shell? Can I make contact with Soft balls? Small clarification: I juggle with 5 balls.
We called soft balls: fabric balls And soft balls: balls with a thin PVC coating giving them a certain flexibility.
Soft balls
Silx balls are soft PVC balls with a liquid silicone filling. They come in 3 versions: Silx, Silx Implosion and Silx Light. In order, the Silx are less flexible than the Silx Implosion and the Silx Light are the most flexible because their shell is the thinnest. If you want to integrate a little contact into your juggling, I advise you to opt for silx balls, they roll a little better. The 75mm and 78mm diameters are the most suitable in my opinion for making contact. Up to a 5 ball, the 78mm version is ideal, beyond a five ball, it is better to choose them in 75mm .
Softballs
Among the soft balls, if you want to juggle with five balls, the two best models are Uglies and Record balls (Mister Babache). Uglies are smaller and will be easier to use because there is little chance of collisions. Record balls are larger and heavier, allowing for more stable juggling.
Both types of bullets, SRX and SILX, appear to have roughly the same characteristics.
Could someone please advise me on any differences?
Which is better: silicone or quartz?
thanks in advance
These are two completely different balls. The SRX shell is much softer than the Silx (thinner). And there is sand quartz inside (like very fine sand).
Generally, the small 67mm balls are used for numbers. The 78mm Silx balls are used for practicing up to 5 balls. And the 100mm Silx balls are used for contact. A new diameter has recently appeared: 75mm. It allows better performances than the 78mm version beyond 5 balls. Indeed, for 6 and 7 balls, the 78mm diameter is slightly too large for many jugglers.
For a child who is doing circus and is starting out, is this ideal?
This is not the model we recommend for a beginner who will not fully appreciate the effect of the liquid silicone in the ball. I recommend that you opt for a beginner for the Varana 441 soft ball with a millet filling.
on the other hand for the three balls the quality of the juggling remains clean or not??????
The quality and comfort of juggling is tip top... Personally I find them a little light for three balls, I would tend to recommend them rather for number... It remains a rather subjective opinion... I sell more and more in stores to people who want to use them for three balls... I have a preference for the 75mm or 78mm size for three balls.
