Trapezoid:
This trapeze is aimed at child beginners as well as adult beginners. The bar is the same one found on our professional trapezes. The bar is covered with foam which is then covered with X-GRIP from Play. The diameter of the bar with the grip is 32mm.
The X-Grip is easy to wash, it is robust for intensive use, and the softness of the foam allows for great comfort of use. This innovative system solves the problem of grip on traditional trapezoids which must be changed regularly and which is less comfortable than the X-Grip.

This trapeze is sold without rope, the shackles provided allow you to use several types of rope or straps depending on the installation you wish to set up, allowing you to make significant savings.
Attaching the trapeze:
This trapeze can be attached either with carabiners / links or with sewn rings . The carabiners and links sold on our site are compatible with this trapeze. Carabiners will be more practical if you often have to install and uninstall your trapeze, links are less expensive and more practical for a fixed installation.

Trapeze safety:
Two important points for safety with a trapeze: the grip and the landing mattress.
Concerning the hooks, have your installation done or checked by an approved organization (design office). Whether you are in a professional environment or at home, the safety of people who will find themselves on the trapeze depends on this grip.
Up to a height of 2 meters, use a landing mattress at least 20cm thick. We recommend the use of a 40cm mat. Beyond this height, standards exist and require thicker mats, of specific sizes, or even inflatable structures.
Do not take the safety of practitioners lightly, never install a trapeze without an appropriate safety system. Never practice aerial disciplines alone and without supervision.

Regarding your concern about water, the **X-GRIP** is a material that washes easily and does not retain moisture. Therefore, this reduces the risk of corrosion of the bar. 🛡️ The foam is protected under the X-Grip. There is a greater risk of the bar rusting from the inside if there is water infiltration inside the bar. The trapeze was not designed to be left outdoors. Of course, leaving it outdoors year-round exposed to the elements will cause wear and tear more quickly than if the equipment is installed indoors. Report this to the company that performs your inspections during your annual aerial equipment inspection, and replace the trapeze when it shows signs of wear. In the photos we see that it is possible to hang the bar on ropes but also on something else in black. What is it? I am looking to install this trapeze in my daughter's room where the height under the beam is 2m30
