Just so you know, this model is especially suitable for the Henrys spinning plates because they are more rigid than the PVC sticks.
How to choose a spinning plate stick ?
There are several kinds of sticks for spinning plates. In general, fiber or plastic sticks are more flexible than the wooden ones. Having a flexible stick will make it easier to practice and a wooden one like this will make it more difficult. If your goal is to be successful quickly, opt for plastic sticks. If on the contrary you want to learn the hard way, then the wooden sticks will be more suitable. More seriously, wooden sticks will require a better technique and so, on the long term, will permit you to be more comfortable with this discipline.
What kind of audience?
As indicated above, the wooden sticks require to be more experienced than with the plastic ones. I tend to advise in the context of a circus lesson to use PVC sticks when you have a group that you see rarely and on short durations, and to opt for wooden sticks if you teach with a regular group that you will see more often.
