Information on the 10mm static rope:
Static ropes do not stretch (very little elasticity) and do not absorb energy. They are used to withstand a load but can in no case be used to cushion a fall.Ropes made with a Spectra core (AKA Dyneema) and a smooth polyester outer tubular structure, with very low modulus of elasticity, and therefore recommended for lifting overhead equipment and safety devices in general.
Dyneema can be twisted or braided into a number of string assemblies, comparable to those commonly found in steel cables. It is often considered a direct substitute for steel. Dyneema cable is made from High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE) fiber and is up to 10 times lighter than steel cable of equal strength. Dyneema string has many advantages, including an extremely attractive strength-to-weight ratio and high resistance to flex fatigue. It also has good chemical resistance. Dyneema also has the advantage of offering excellent handling properties and this type of rope has superior properties to steel in many marine environments and dynamic applications. The 10 mm diameter rope can be used with all the most common climbing equipment. It is the right choice to use as a safety rope.

Hello, I would like to buy this static rope but I cannot choose the number of meters I want... should I put the number per meter in the "quantity" box? Or will I end up with lots of 1M pieces?

All you have to do is enter the number of meters you want in the quantity box! We promise we'll only give you one piece! We won't bother making you lots of 1-meter pieces! It's not possible to enter a decimal point though :-(.
