67mm TT1 Ball [130g]
This ball model is sold individually .
A new generation of juggling balls for professional artists but also a high-performance ball for beginners who want the best in a juggling ball.
The TT1 uses the same very thin (2mm) soft shell as on the SRX, Silx Light or TTS balls. The ball's filling is made from plastic micro-spheres, a unique filling material that ensures excellent handling and a surprising tactile and sensory experience. The fact that the ball is completely filled gives it good stability which will be suitable if you are starting with 3 balls, 4 balls but also to start with 5 balls. The TTS rolls little when it hits the ground, while remaining as responsive as traditional juggling balls, but the softness of its shell sets it apart from the rest.
Technical characteristics :
- Color: choose from the 13 colors offered.
- Diameter: 67mm (also available in 62, 70mm and 75mm).
- Mass: 130g.
- Filling: complete / 0.8mm plastic microspheres.
- Shell: very thin and soft.
- Shell thickness: approximately 2mm.
0.8mm microsphere filling:
The microspheres measure 0.8 mm in diameter and are all identical and perfectly spherical. Thanks to this feature, the spheres slide beautifully together, accentuating the soft feel of the balls. The density of the microspheres is approximately 10% lower than that of millet (a seed often used to fill juggling balls), which allows, for an equivalent ball diameter, to have a ball approximately 10% lighter.
The shell of the ball:
The shell is made of 100% phthalate-free soft PVC. Play produces 2 different ball shell thicknesses. The version used here is the thinnest version. It is extremely elastic, durable and easy to wash with any type of detergent. When not juggling them, we recommend storing your balls in a separate bag as the PVC can easily become permanently stained from contact with inks such as magazine pages or pens and markers. The case is approximately 2mm thick. This thin shell is more tolerant of collisions and rolls on the ground much less than balls that have thicker shells.
Difference between TT1 and TTS:
If you are wondering what the difference is between the TTS and the TT1, well the TT1 is completely filled. This makes it a relatively heavy ball of 120g. The TTS ball is only partially filled and is therefore lighter. The TTS is best suited for experienced jugglers looking to reduce the weight of their balls. The TT1 presented here on this page is heavier and "more stable". The choice between the two models is purely a matter of taste, but a heavier ball may be more accessible if you are a beginner.
NetJuggler's opinion on the TT1 ball:
We love the thin shell, the finish is just magnificent. The cap, like all Play balls, is very discreet. The ball doesn't grip too much. In our opinion, this model is more pleasant to juggle than our own Varana 441 balls, although you will need to budget a little more to purchase one.
