Typhoon diabolo

Item sold individually without the handsticks nor a string . Be sure to order them separately ! NetJuggler recommends aluminum handsticks that you can choose from the options on this page. If you are an experienced diabolist, then NetJuggler advises you to do like Etienne and go for a pair of Deos Carbon handsticks.

Diabolo to practice with 1, 2, 3 or 4 diabolos !
The Typhoon diabolo has been in development at Juggle Dream for over two years. It incorporates the best characteristics of the most efficient diabolos.
It is therefore ideal for practicing with 1 diabolo but also several diabolos.
Video presentation of the Typhoon by Alexis:
Alexis explains the different important points of the Typhoon diabolo to you and then performs an impressive demonstration with the Typhoon diabolo.
Etienne Chauzy with the Typhoon diabolo:

Characteristics of the Typhoon diabolo:
- Diameter: 128mm.
- Height: 143mm.
- Weight: 240g.
- Axis: fixed.
- Available colours: Red, Green, Orange, Blue and Purple.
NetJuggler information:
What took the longest to develop on this diabolo is the material that is used on its cups. Indeed, it is very difficult to obtain a durable glossy translucent plastic that will have a good shape memory, which means that when the plastic deforms after a shock, it will return to its original shape.
Video by Tony Frebourg:
Tony Frebourg, exceptional artist, star of Cirque du Soleil, performs here a demonstration of the Typhoon diabolo by practicing up to 5 diabolos at the same time.
Highlights of the Typhoon diabolo:
- On its cups, the masses are concentrated on the outside of the diabolo, thus giving it better inertia and a better balance.
- With its 240 grams, it is at the same time stable enough to practice with 1 diabolo while having an ideal mass to practice with 2, 3 or 4 diabolos by providing little physical effort.
- Cups with a glossy finish do not catch on to each other during collisions between diabolos.
- A special shape has been given to the guides to make it easier to re-center the diabolos. - Ring: Placed around the axis and between the two guides, it is on this part that the string slides .
Video of Matt and Ronnie:
Two talented young diabolists with two very opposing play styles come together in this video featuring the Typhoon diabolo. Enjoy the show :-)
What kind of use ?
This diabolo is ideal for practicing with one or more diabolos. Ideal for beginners or experienced diabolists.
For children, we recommend a medium-sized diabolo.
NetJuggler tips:
If you are a beginner, NetJuggler advises you to take a reel of string with your order. Indeed, beginners with dry and jerky movements wear out the string very quickly, in a few hours, where the same string can last a few weeks for an experienced diabolist. This may save you from having to pay shipping fees again when your string is worn out.

Good evening,
I have already ordered a diabolo from another site, but it was much too small... I would like to be sure that this diabolo is the largest possible size! Thank you in advance....
Hello! 😊 No worries, I can help you! The Diabolo Typhoon we offer has the following dimensions: - Diameter: 128mm - Height: 143mm With these measurements, you can be sure that the Typhoon is among the largest diabolos available on the market. It's a great option if you're looking for a large diabolo. Don't hesitate to contact us if you need more information!
Hello, why do you have to use (my " " button no longer works, sorry for the mistake) a fixed axle diabolo to practice with several diabolos, thank you.
Is this diabolo fast enough to do vertax?
Is it big and heavy?
I would like to know if it is faster than the cyclone diabolo even though the Typhoon does not have bearings.
Thanks in advance.
The Typhoon diabolo is a fixed axle diabolo. This gives it a poorer rotation compared to any diabolo equipped with bearings. The Typhoon will excel in single diabolo practice as well as multi-diabolo practice. The shape of the Typhoon diabolo's axle spacing makes it a diabolo that also offers good performance on Vertax. Be careful, however, to obtain better results in vertax, we generally practice with diabolos equipped with large ball bearings, such as the Hurricane. The Cyclone/Cyclone Quartz, Gyro free type diabolos, are a little too small to offer good performances in vertax.
I recently bought 2 Taibolos but I find that they catch a lot on the thread even when it is not worn. How can I make it catch less?
If you're used to diabolos with ball bearings, that's perfectly normal. Diabolos with fixed axles have a lot of grip. This makes it easier to play with multiple diabolos. You always have the option of using a string that's thinner and less grippy. Which diabolo string do you use? The thinnest, least grippy, is Henrys in Yellow (closely followed by Henrys Orange).
I use orange Henrys string.
And also I wanted to ask you my DEOS wands broke I got them 2 months ago and I would like to know if you could send me some more I think it is a manufacturing problem I plan to call to see about that.
Contact our after-sales service using the contact details at the top of the site :-). We'll look into it together for your baguettes.
I would like a diabolo for all types of figures. Which diabolo do you recommend?
The Typhoon diabolo is a very versatile diabolo. It will give you good performance for practicing with one diabolo as well as with several diabolos. It also allows you to do a little Vertax. If you want to specialize in Vertax, opt for a diabolo equipped with bearings. But be careful, however, bearing diabolos are not suitable for practicing with several diabolos at the same time (unless you are at a very high level).
Which bearing diabolo to choose at 10 years old
For a 10-year-old, you can opt for a medium-sized diabolo like the Cyclone Quartz V2 ; or a large but fairly light diabolo like the Vision Free
Is the Typhoon diabolo a bearing diabolo?
Good morning,
As stated in the description, the Typhoon diabolo is a fixed axle diabolo. The equivalent of the Tyhpoon in the triple bearing version is the Hurricane diabolo.
Hello, I would like to know what is the specialty of the A Dream and the Typhoon.
Comparison of the A-Dream and Typhoon diabolos
The Typhon diabolo has some advantages over the A-Dream.
Hello, I play two diabolos and am starting little by little with 3. I plan to move on to professional equipment in a few weeks, and I am hesitating between the Typhoon and the A Dream. I would like to buy 3 together so I want to get the right one right away. Is there a different behavior for these 2 models? Is there a store in Belgium where I can try before buying? Many thanks...
Both diabolos are very good models, there is not one that is better than the other. Some diabolists have a preference for the Typhoon, others for the A-Dream diabolo . There is currently a fashion phenomenon around the A-Dream diabolo among diabolists who practice with more than 2 diabolos.
Is it possible to try it somewhere before buying? I live in Louvain-la-Neuve in Walloon Brabant. (Belgium)
You can come and try it out with us... But it will be quite a journey, we are located in France near Limoges :-)
Hello, I would like to know between the epic dream, the typhoon and the circus which would be the best. I like to do the vertax, the slide on the stick and on the fingers and I like to do diabolo with 2, which one do you recommend?
Vertax is a discipline where the diabolo is used with its axis vertical. It is a difficult discipline. Large diabolos equipped with ball bearings are generally used for this discipline. The A-Dream, Typhoon, and Circus are not diabolos equipped with ball bearings. For Vertax, it would be better to focus on the Hurricane, Circus Free, or Sundia Shining diabolos.
Yes of course but I don't want a diabolo with bearings and I can't do the lifter. I prefer to make a diabolo with normal bearings. What do you recommend between C3, Pic, Dream, Circus and Typhoon?
If you plan to practice outdoors on asphalt or gravel, then the Circus will scratch much less than other diabolos that have shiny plastic. All three are excellent diabolos with a well-established reputation. Whichever you choose, you won't be disappointed!
Is the axis of the diabolo typhoon and accer large to make the vertage and the figures on the fingers?
With the diabolo typhoon can you do vertax and figures on the doi?
Good morning,
I'm interested in this diabolo for lighting. But I'd only like to buy one for now (and then a second one in the coming months). However, a competitor's store has sold it out and won't sell it again.
Does this mean it is no longer being manufactured or will soon be discontinued? Thanks in advance for your reply. :)
Raphael
This diabolo is still in production; we have no intention of discontinuing it. It's a very good model. We still have a large quantity in stock.
Hello, for my birthday I would like to order a diabolo with spare sticks and string, but I don't know if I should get the Typhoon diabolo or the Circus, which is better for only using one diabolo for the moment?
For sticks, which is better: super grind sticks, Henry's aluminum sticks, or colored carbon sticks?
then for the string is it better to take a Henrys string or a Proline?
Thanks in advance for the answers.
Typhoon or Circus
Both are diabolos that offer excellent performance, whether you're practicing with one or more diabolos. The Circus has opaque shells that are less suitable if you want to add a light kit to your diabolo. Its shells will scratch less and will last longer. The Typhoon has a more sophisticated look and design than the Circus, but its glossy, translucent plastic can scratch if used on tarmac or gravel.
Aluminum or carbon rods?
Aluminum diabolo handsticks are thin and rigid, allowing you to give direct commands to the diabolo and facilitating all grind/slide type tricks (where the diabolo slides on the handsticks). Carbon handsticks are lighter, allowing you to better feel the diabolo in the string. Their flexibility helps cushion the reception of the diabolo for greater comfort. However, this flexibility makes the commands given to the diabolo less direct than aluminum handsticks, which are rigid.
Henrys or Proline twine
Both of these strings are of very good quality. Henrys string, however, enjoys a better reputation among professionals. We have a very detailed description of Henrys diabolo strings , which react differently depending on their color. It may be interesting to consult this description to know which color to choose based on your level and your playing style.
Good evening, I would like to give a diabolo to my 14-year-old son. He plays a little with a friend, with whom they do tricks and passes, but with simple equipment like those found in the summer in supermarkets. Can you tell me what would be best for him, as well as the sticks, please? Thank you.
Is there a bearing on the diabolo?
The Typhoon is a fixed axle diabolo. The equivalent of the Typhoon with a triple ball bearing is the
I bought 2 Typhoon diabolos to my great happiness but unfortunately I have a lot of trouble with it to give it speed when I tie a knot around it it accelerates when I accel with the right stick then slows down with the return of the left stick so I can't get more speed when I do an acceleration other than the basic one like the whip and the diabolo has trouble moving because of the knot and ends up wrapping itself around the string until it reaches the stick or stops. To clarify I already have a bearing diabolo from Henris with which I manage well and carbon sticks bought at the same time on your site. Sorry for the length of the message thank you in advance.
Good morning,
For all matters concerning an order or after-sales service, you can contact us by email or telephone (contact details at the top and bottom of the site). Thank you for your understanding.
Chances are you're used to using ball-bearing diabolos that don't wrap around the string when accelerated this way. In that case, you'll need to learn how to use a diabolo like the Typhoon that doesn't have ball bearings. The practice isn't the same for some tricks.
However from what you describe it could be a string issue: - either your string is starting to get too worn - either it is not a diabolo string and it is too thick (the reaction with a triple bearing axle or with a fixed axle will not be the same with a string that is too thick). In any case, do not hesitate to contact us. SincerelyThis diabolo is a little marvel!
Having first bought it to join the Finess and Visions for juggling initiations, I never leave them to train! Light, solid, quickly accelerated, comfortable for the wrist...
For experienced diabolists, the comfort is not the same as with other diabolo ranges like the A-Dream, Taibolo and company, but your purchase will be without regret because it is worth having in the arsenal of an experienced juggler!
I had a question about the "Typhoon" diabolos. Are they good for using in pairs (making two diabolos)?
As long as the diabolo is suitable for use with 3 or 4 diabolos, it will perform well when used with 2 diabolos. The Typhoon is a diabolo that we recommend for use with 1 diabolo but also with several diabolos.
Hello, my diabolo gets wrapped up in its string and therefore winds up to the sticks and stops it when it goes very fast. Is it the diabolo that has a problem or should the string be changed?
Good morning... Your diabolo can get tangled up in the string for several reasons: - The string on your diabolo is starting to wear out. - Your diabolo is a cheap diabolo bought in a supermarket and is not equipped with a quality axle. - You're using a string that isn't a diabolo string and is therefore too thick. This is the case with many diabolo kits found in toy stores.
For optimal life of your string and to have a robust string that slides well, NetJuggler recommends the Henrys Pro diabolo string .
I am a beginner but I would like to progress. Which diabolo would be most appropriate: the Big Foot or the Typhoon?
The Typhoon is much better balanced and more robust. It will last you much longer and is professional equipment that will be easier to practice with. Happy juggling :-)
thank you so I took the typhoon and I'm having a lot of fun thank you
I'm hesitating between the Typhon diabolo and the Vision for doing tricks with one diabolo. Which one should I choose?
THANKS.
The Typhoon is a larger diabolo that has better inertia, so you won't need to constantly re-speed it.
Is it possible to wrap the axis or is it too small?
It is entirely possible to make a wrap around the axle. However, as with all fixed axle diabolos, a wrap cannot be done once the diabolo has gained a lot of speed. Generally, wraps are much easier to do with diabolos equipped with ball bearings, where it will also be possible to make up to ten wraps at the same time.
Esque. We can do escalibur. Vertically?
Yes, you can do Excalibur but you will quickly be limited with this diabolo, I know because I have this very diabolo, I advise you to do as I did (I also wanted to do Excalibur) take a diabolo with ball bearings like for example the Circus FREE or the Vision FREE or even the Hurricane, these are the 3 best for me ;)
Why don't you sell diabolo bags?
I have quite a few diabolos and I would like to carry them in a bag, because I just have an old plastic bag and it's not very classy :(
Which diabolo should I choose between the Typhoon and the Epic?
Both are excellent diabolos. The Typhoon has the particularity of being a little lighter. If you're still young and not too strong, it will tire you out less. And it will also be more pleasant to use with several diabolos because it's lighter.
Good morning,
I'm asking for your help. I've been playing diabolo for a long time but I'm small and like diabolo that aren't too heavy. I don't know if I should get the Typhoon or the Circus. Please get back to me quickly so I can place this order with you as quickly as possible.
The Circus and Typhoon diabolos are both excellent diabolos. Whichever you choose, you'll have a good piece of equipment in your hands. If you prefer a diabolo that's not too heavy, then I recommend the Typhoon, which is lighter than the Circus.
Or rather baguette
The preferred sticks are aluminum sticks, which are rigid and allow for easy direct commands to the diabolo. The preferred sticks among professionals and experienced diabolists are the Deos Carbon sticks.
What type of rope would be best for the Typhoon?
The most suitable strings for use with all types of diabolos are Deos Juggling strings and Henrys Pro strings.
Hello
I would like to know which diabolo to choose between the Typhoon and the A-dream. I would really like to succeed with two diabolos but often my circus diabolo gets very out of alignment so which one is better for 1 diabolo and 2 diabolos?
Thanks in advance.
If your Circus is misaligned, you'll need to practice a little more! The Circus, the A-Dream, and the Typhoon are all excellent diabolos. If one of them is misaligned, it's more a matter of experience and practice. Changing diabolos won't solve this problem! :-) On the other hand, the Taibolo is lighter and therefore certainly less tiring to handle when you have several diabolos in the string at the same time and the Typhoon is even lighter making it a favorite in practice with several diabolos. Its plastic is also shape memory and flexible while being low rebound which prevents collisions in the air from being too violent.
I juggle outdoors a lot, will it scratch easily? (I'm afraid it will show on the translucent shell)
It will scratch like all diabolos. Even the highest-end models such as the Circus scratch. However, scratches will be less visible on an opaque diabolo than on a translucent one. Among the translucent diabolos we offer, the Typhoon and Hurricane shells are certainly the least scratchable.
Is this diabolo compatible with the light kit?
Yes, this diabolo is compatible with the light kit.
Is this diabolo good for practicing with 1 or 2 diabolos?
This diabolo is excellent for practicing 1 to 5 diabolos :-)
Hello netjuggler, I would like to start practicing two-person diabolos. What is the best diabolo for this practice (Taibolo V2; Circus Light; Typhoon; A Dream; Circus)? Thank you.
Gautier
It's primarily a matter of taste. Experienced diabolists who use multiple diabolos have a preference for the Taibolo V2, as well as Epic Juggling's A-Dream diabolo, which has been a huge success since its release. The Typhoon diabolo is brand new. It has been tried by many diabolists practicing with 2, 3, and 4 diabolos. It's very popular. I think it's definitely one of the best diabolos for practicing with several diabolos.
