Idea for a non-competitive game to make with the rattle:

"Round of the rattles". The children stand in a circle and each receives a rattle. One child begins to spin their rattle, then the child to their left does the same, creating a "wave" of buzzing sounds that ripples around the circle. Once all the children have participated, the pace can be picked up gradually so that the "wave" moves faster. This game develops coordination, listening and a sense of rhythm in children, while promoting cooperation and sharing.
