Kevlar wick & filings
The range we sell is made from 100% "Kevlar®". After extensive research, we market a Kevlar® made specifically for juggling.
It has been found that the majority of Kevlar® wicks on the market are a combination of Kevlar®, aramid fibers and fiberglass. The sole purpose of this mixture is to considerably reduce the price of production. Fiberglass costs much less than Kevlar® and combined with aramid fibers, it tends to make the fibers softer and less durable. Here we have opted for a robust Kevlar®.
Our wicks are super compact and made from 100% pure Kevlar®. The 5mm versions that we sell allow the use of very small quantities (50 cm is sufficient to make a good torch or pair of fire poi. We also made a lot of tests until we found the perfect way to braid the Kevlar® for maximum absorbency while having a rigid structure and clean edges.
The Kevlar sold under the name éoZoé is a Kevlar that is braided in France especially for NetJuggler. If you want to encourage us to develop the brand and to produce in France, we invite you to direct your choice towards this range :-)
