We have gathered all the fabric poi here. Some have ribbons, others have scarves. And finally some models have shapes comparable to that of socks in which a ball is slipped to give it weight and thus inertia! Socks-like models will be the easiest to use. The others will be more aesthetic.
If you are a beginner and want to develop pure technique, then socks will be more suitable. If you want something pretty for a show or for the pleasure of the eyes, opt for the scarf poi or ribbon poi instead. Scarf poi are the quietest model.
