Unicycle cranks
Choose your cranks:
Be sure to change the correct side of the crank. The crank marked with an L goes on the left and the one marked with an R goes on the right. This letter is on the inner side of the crank that you want to change.
There are two crank systems: Standard and ISIS.
A standard crank has a square fixing system. This is what we find on most first price unicycles.
The ISIS system looks a bit like a star.
The crank length is very important on a unicycle - it adjusts
the multiplication between your strength and the wheel. Not only to speed up the
unicycle, but also to brake downhill. So, it must be adapted to
your field of use: freestylers tend to ride with short cranks,
long distance runners prefer long cranks.
