1A yo-yos - or "non responsive yo-yos"
- 1 A: With an non-responsive yo-yo - Shape: Butterfly.
- 3 A: Use of 2 1A yo-yos : Expert level.
- 5A: 1A yo-yo with a counterweight.
Start seriously the 1A:
The 1A yo-yos, to practice seriously, are metallic yo-yos. If you are a beginner: be careful not to drop them. We recommend the K1 Spin yoyo which is equipped with high-end bearings with a more robust plastic structure than the metal yo-yos.
This yo-yo discipline is visually very impressive and can be very technical.
The 1A is practiced with a "non-responsive yo-yo". That is to say a ball bearing yo-yo that does not go up the string. It is necessary to make a trick which is called a "bind" so that it goes up. This is what makes this style the most interesting because you can do a lot of tricks without the yo-yo catching on the string.
The 1A style of yo-yo is the most common today. It's sort of the modern yo-yo.
The shape of the yo-yo is reminiscent of a butterfly: a very open shape that makes it easier to catch the yo-yo on the string.
