La Batoude - GRAND-NORD -Beauvais:
A little over 15 years ago, a few people had the somewhat bizarre and daring idea of instilling the spirit of the marquees in the middle of the concrete towers of the Saint-Jean district.
During the following years, the circus gradually settled in Beauvais, first within the circus school, then with the contemporary circus shows programmed at the Jacques Brel hall and the artists welcomed in residence. Then came the time for new artistic adventures and beautiful encounters in the Oise countryside with the traveling circus and the street festival "Divers et d'été".
Since January 2009, backed by this local anchoring and regional and national recognition, Batoude has set sail and now flies on its own, in a renovated Jacques Brel hall, with a reinforced team.
>We thus begin a great journey towards new horizons. The flight plan remains the same: to promote circus and street arts and to make a large and popular public aware of original forms of live performance, by promoting as much as possible the bridges between artistic practice within the school of circus and the reception of companies within the framework of programming and support for creation.
The stopovers of this trip will be made according to our favorites and our encounters. they will all have in common the desire to share circus experiences with you to thrill, laugh and think about.

Essonia-Ile de France-Montlhery:
"It takes years of work to make a clown, a juggler, an acrobat, a tightrope walker.
We are not there yet and it is not currently our goal.
The initiation to circus arts is already a big activity.
Acquiring self-confidence, accomplishing and reaching the goal one has set for oneself, are the values that Josiane and Italo MEDINI teach every Friday to the students of the school through activities where only the will and the effort ensure success.
The circus is above all "the show" and above all a big family.
Our children are between 3 and 17 years old, or even more for a few ...
The purpose of this site is to introduce you to the teachers, their work, the representations and our ambitions for the future years.
We hope to share them with you."
