Diabolo tutorial 13: Magic knot

To practice this tutorial, you will need to know how to speed up your diabolo.

You are going to learn how to tie a magic knot. This is a trick where you make lots of knots around the diabolo and then, at the end, as if by magic, it frees itself from all the knots.

You should therefore already be a little used to practicing the diabolo to learn this trick.

We have made a whole series of tutorials for all levels, do not hesitate to watch the first ones if you do not feel you have a sufficient technical level for this tutorial.

For the realization of this tutorial, we equipped ourselves with a large diabolo, equipped with triple bearings, the Hurricane. You can also make this trick with a fixed axis diabolo. The fact that we use a diabolo equipped with bearings makes the trick easier to achieve because the diabolo will keep its speed longer than a diabolo equipped with a fixed axis.

For the video, we used a very, very thick string that is not normally used for practicing the diabolo. The only advantage of using this thick string is to allow a better understanding of the video because we see it better on the screen than a real diabolo string.
