A Show Inspired by Shams of Tabriz and Rûmî

Asrâr is steeped in the teachings and poems of Shams of Tabriz and Rûmî, mystical figures from the 13th century. The show incorporates voice-over excerpts from these texts, enriching the experience with a captivating soundtrack that transports the audience to Iran and Turkey.

Meeting the Artists Behind Asrâr

The Asrâr show is the result of collaboration among several talented artists, each bringing a unique perspective and expertise to this fascinating creation.

Anouck Joubier, also known as Manouchka

Artistic director, fire juggler, stilt walker, costume designer, choreographer, and scenographer. Immersed in the cultural world since childhood, Anouck developed a deep passion for performing arts. After a decade in dance, she turned to juggling, enriching her artistic palette. She has worked with various companies, taking on various roles from fire performer to cultural event organizer.

Allison Janssen, also known as Calypso Cosmica

Passionate about dance and circus, Calypso discovered the art of fire through hula hoops and other apparatus. Her artistic journey expanded with acro-yoga and stilts. With a degree in French Sign Language, she incorporates the language of movement into her performances. She also has experience as a pyrotechnician, adding a unique dimension to her fire and light performances.

Mélisande Pommier-Ferri, also known as Mélysande

Co-artistic director, dancer, choreographer, and musician. With a degree in contemporary dance, Mélisande has collaborated with various artists and companies. Her skills in choreography and music were crucial to the birth of Asrâr, adding a touch of creativity and innovation to the show.

Thibault, also known as Thibolass

Dancer and fire performer, Thibolass began his career in festivals and street performances before traveling within France and abroad. His passion for fire led him to collaborate with various companies and create his own shows. His experience and talent as a fire juggler greatly enhance Asrâr.

This dedicated team of artists has successfully merged their diverse talents to create Asrâr, a performance that goes beyond the visual to touch the hearts and minds of the audience.
