Cintegabelle, Occitanie - The Aerial Hoop Experience will take place from May 22nd to 25th in a charming eco-lodge located in the heart of Ariège's nature . This aerial hoop event is open to all those passionate about this discipline, and promises to be an unforgettable experience for participants.
We were able to exchange with Magdalena Martin who organizes the event.
"I started at a school in London in 2017, then enrolled in classes at the Bordeaux Circus School . I performed my first show at the Electric Circus in Paris and in 2022 won first prize in the IPSF competition in the amateur artistic category."

A natural and inspiring setting
The Domaine du Beyssac, located in the heart of nature, offers an ideal setting to unleash your creativity and recharge your batteries. This unique stay will allow you to discover a different approach to aerial hooping thanks to exceptional instructors.
I wanted to find a charming place, lost in the countryside. When I found this property, it was love at first sight.
How did the idea for the Aerial Hoop Experience event come about and what were the main challenges in organizing it?
I was looking for an event like this in France and couldn't find one... so I decided to create my own. The main challenge was ensuring the event's legitimacy. Managing it on-site will be another challenge for me, but fortunately, I won't be managing everything entirely alone.
Can you introduce the event speakers and explain their role in Aerial Hoop Experience?
"The instructors I've chosen are very diverse, so that participants can progress on several levels. Cecile Magdeleine is in the entertainment world and will be able to bring them her interpretation and artistic rigor. Sophie Granjon has a different, slower, spiritual approach. June will help them progress on the ground so that she can help them progress in the air. Olivia Rainaud will teach them new figures to create a choreography and will have them work on their interpretation."
For participants, we start at a minimum intermediate level so that the group can move forward together.
What is included in the stay and how does it contribute to the overall experience?
The idea is for people to arrive and have nothing to do. They sleep on site, eat on site, attend classes, and enjoy the pool and the grounds. It's a stay to relax while improving your technique, and with people who share the same passion. To round off the stay, a photo shoot on the banks of the Ariège and a picnic are organized. There are also other surprises that I won't reveal here!
What advice would you give to beginners in aerial hoop who want to improve their practice and experience?
I would tell them to be consistent in their practice and to train in a group to progress faster.
